I luv the way the truck came out.I know from doing a rebuild myself,it takes a lot of long week nights and weekends,and money.I just don't understand why some people go through all the work of getting a truck lookin kick ass and then try to sell it and get their money out of it.You'll never get out what you put in.I'm looking forward to doing one again.

The shop you were referring to was "Gas" They were the one who had Mad Mike, the white guy with spiky looking hair. etc...They also produce good quality cars when not on Pimp my Ride. Some of the cars on Pimp my Ride were decent and not over the top. If I have 15k to 20k to spend on my car, I would fly my car to West Coast Customs and throw down idea's.

ok for one, if you notice from the before pictures, it WAS a 3/4 ton, so that would make it a factory leaf spring rear. Half ton trucks would be standard coil rear unless it had a leaf option installed. second, they should do some research before they go telling about the trucks. chevrolet did not make a V6 until 1980's (the 4.3) the 6 cylinders offered were a 250 (inline) and the bigger 292 (inline also). morons....................

3/4 ton camper you can have both leaf with coil on top . 12bolt diff normal truck 12 is not the same as a car 12. car had a 1 .625 pinion. truck had 1.438

These people who own these cars don´t have the money to restore them and if they wasn´t a show called Overhaulin these cars wil rot and end at a scrapyard. Restoring these is no cheap and now days not everybody have the money to do that. The cars still look classic after being on overhaul and they look also cooler than before.
