um, the lyrics r way off in english, not even close. the words r in russian. for example after "im a soldier" then the next is "znachet ya, i otvechik i sudya, ya stayu na dvuh kontsa ognya"

@Talamare2 Easy. If you want to sing along and you've got all English lyrics, half of them aren't going to fit. The song's specifically written with Russian lyrics, so converting them all to English, at least without PROVIDING the Russian wouldn't be very helpful.

@Ayame424 It's actually NOT romanized Russian, just how this English speaker(me) heard the song based on English pronunciations. I never said I was doing the Russian romanization, I found that as a native English speaker, even romanized Russian was a bit hard to pronounce, so I figured I might not be the only one. This really isn't MEANT for someone who actually knows how to speak Russian.

no the English and Russian parts are different. She sings something in English, then switches languages. The English translation is in the description near the end and says "English Translation" though I do realize that it's pretty long so I can't fault you for not noticing ^_^

It was phonetic English for people who want to know how to pronounce the Russian,but only speak English. I did have access to the ACTUAL lyrics,I was using my own ears though to help other people. Russian is hard to pronounce, even the romanized version.

I understand you're trying to make it phonetic, but I'm fluent in Russian, and I couldn't understand how you got some of these phonetics from the lyrics.

Maybe you could try combining the romanization with your interpretation of the lyrics as you're hearing it. For instance, you hear "Znachit" as "Snacheet," however the Russian word definitely starts with a "Z." So you could combine them to fit your interpretation and say "Znacheet." But "ga" is definitely supposed to be "ya," which means "I"

If I was ever going to redo this video I would definitely take some of thse into consideration, but as this video is over a year old and I'm really just not planning on it, and there's no way to replace video on youtube, there's no way I could fix it.
