  • Diction of English is awful!

  • The Voice of Radu Marian is how a orgasm without sex!.

  • ma è frocio?

  • @chojinkid

    No, lui NON E FROCIO!!!

In his childhood he was very ill; it was a endocrine disease and because of this his voice didnt change from boy sopran to tenor.

Apart from that he is totally normal,...but I understand, why he is so shy to be filmed and fotographed and to be interviewed.

For sure he hates such questions and claims.

That seems to be a ruling principle of this world: ingenious people with a gift always attract dumb comments and questions. Sorry

  • @Yssann For sure you are right: there have been more than enough dumb comments in his life!

  • holy... he's awesome

  • I've sung this before, not in that octave tho! Nice, Good Job!

  • I absolutely hate this performance. I think its very strange. Plus I feel like many of his words were incorrect.

  • i'm simply in love with this amazing performance...shivers on my spine...*_*

  • I understand that Radu Marian is a true male soprano and though I applaud him for the work he does I personally don't like his voice. His tone is very lateral and anemic like an untrained soubrette. I prefer singers like Maniaci who maintain the chiaro scuro tone.

  • This is slightly disturbing. lol

  • Radu has the most exquisite voice one can ever hear in a lifetime.

    It is truly beautiful sound.

  • Oh my God! A live performance of Radu Marian!!!!!!! Priceless!

  • I'm not sure if you're aware that he isn't using falsetto. He's a rare case of a natural male soprano, that is, his larynx is the same as a boy's before it is changed by puberty. Jorge Cano and Michael Maniaci also have natural soprano ranges.

  • He isn't using falsetto? what about his speaking voice? Still sound like a woman?

  • In an interview his voice was said to be 'wispy like smoke' I think - quiet like a whisper. I guess it would be light and high somewhat like a teenager's before the voice changes. Like most of us, I'm not sure though what it would sound like.

  • @Totanz

He doesn't use the falsetto voice, because he has a true male soprano voice. He is not the only one, but the most famous of course.

  • Tante granzie per il video!!

That was a brilliant performance, both musicians are truly great.

    These videos are rare pearls.

Radu's vocal performance is pure perfection, just lean back and enjoy!

  • Beautiful!!! Sorry I have to say it again. :-)

His stage presence is also truly captivating.

  • Thank you SO much for recording and sharing this!! You truly made my day. I'm about to look at the other videos as well. It's interesting to see Radu's comparative size on stage as well. Almost a child-like appearance mixed with adult maturity which is nothing short of beautiful, perfectly complimenting his seraphic voice.

  • My comment about Radu's appearance was not intended to be derisive in any way, just to remark upon his wonderful gift. :-)

  • Was this aria originally for the voice of Siface? It would coincide with his time in England, I think. Late 1680's? Siface was the first true castrato superstar, I think. Him and Pistocchino both since they were known far and wide outside of Italy. He paved the way for Niccolino and Senesino who, in turn, preceeded Farinelli, Caffarelli, Guadagni, Bernacchi, ETC.

  • Per chi fu scrita questa aria? Siface? Dove essere Siface per che lui si trovava a Londra in il temp di Purcell, no? Pardonare il mio malo Italiano, per piacere.

  • Don't worry my english is not better than your italian! I don't know if this aria is the SIface or not if you find somethink send me please. I'm sure that this song is for sopran voice.
