@sornord This dos not explain the ORIGIN of Life. As for what you are referring to it is an EXPLANATION and not PROOF. With all the simple single cell life forms around it is simple to set up a long term experiment and show proof of what you say, if indeed it is true. But other than adaptation with no increase in chromosome or genetic content of a beneficial nature the argument will still be unscientific but a mater of faith for those who believe it.
@DustYoSelf - You should read more about biology then. Mutations are random. Survival of the organisms housing them is not. The mutations that enhance survival and reproduction of those organisms ACCUMULATE within over time, from parent to offspring, generation after generation. This makes it actually EASY to add complexity...it's little by little over millions of years. It NEVER was all in one go.

I don't believe life is out of randomness. Its just not possible to have such levels of complexity, efficiency & environmental sport systems out of randomness. The fact that such a thing as life, or living systems is enough to have me convinced.

Tip : you should have uploaded it in 480p despite the source being lower.
The compression doesn't get so maniac on the video then and hence a bit clearer.

Really fascinating talk though and the animations are great, very helpful in visualization.

Galileo didn't use the world's first telescope -.-
His was merely the most powerful/highest magnification, and he was the first to point it at heavenly bodies and use it to study them.

@PhamvanDong Malaria hides in our own cells for protection in essence. There's more to it than that, but that's a simplified quick answer.
