  • OK I cant set up my keyboard buttons to the drums right. Every key is whichever drum is currently selected. Could somone explain how to map seperate keys to each drum instrument. like B for Bass, S for Snare etc.

  • ah good point

  • yeah, where do yoiu get fruityoloops

  • I bought FL Studio For 100$ at guitar center. But you can get a demo on FL studio's web site.

  • Oh shit, I marked ktran1994 spam on accident. My dog ran into me when I was trying to hit reply.....you can get it on pirate bay.

  • its prty easy to find the crack for it the demo is exactly the same to the full vrision except you cant save which can get extremly anoying if your shering your computer with outher people if not just leave it open until you finish doing your song and then just export it as audio

  • This really helped!! I am running the Rock Band kit through the FPC plugin now. It really works especially since my laptop does not have MIDI ports. I cannot believe how easy that was. Now I think that I am going to buy another Rock Band kit so that I can have cymbals and toms. Thanks!

  • Hey thanks. Good video. You're English is fine, at least you try at a language that isn't your original.

  • does this effect anything from rock band the game?

  • no it has nothing to do with the game your just useing the rock band drum kit as a midi device to trigger sampels on your computer

i.e when you plug it back in to your x box it will be as if nothing happend

  • what version is it

    i have 7

  • were u on anything during the production of this film ? just curious

  • i am confused

  • Thank you!

  • thank you

  • Thank you a billion. I used different programs but you taught me that it's possible to use the Rock Band drum kit with my PC as a drum kit to record with. I used a drum demo called Drum Site and instead of Joy2Key I used X padder. Thank you again.

  • That is SO bad ass!!

    I gotta try this now...

  • Aw, now I wish I had Rock Band...

I have FL Studio as well.

  • Commentbuster, let me give you soem advices. Take your computer whack it with a hammer 6 times, buy Guitar Hero III, play Through the fire and flames on expert. And then I will forgive you for what you said...

  • fruty loops is a tool for mucians to create rock band is a toy

  • yeah but musicians tend to have a knack for using what theyve got...and why put the opportunity to waste?

  • @southnowwest They are both toys...

  • glovepie is pretty awesome click on my website for my script

  • Wwhat is this for???

  • fruity loops ownz...if you understood how to use it, you would realize its capable of alot more

  • fruity loops..did he say that...fruity loops sucks...i use reason ...way better...

  • Edrum Monitor is the best program to use to convert it to Midi Signals

    goto edrummonitor dot com

  • What version of FL studio are you using? I'm using v7, and it isn't recognizing the key presses. I've tried it in other j2key on other programs, and it works there, so I'm guessing it has something to do with FL studio.

  • same here Ive tried Joy2Key and Xpadder and cant get them to work w/ FL but when i hit them I do know they are outputting keystrokes because I opened up notepad and hit them and the text came up

  • Maybe its becaise Im using Vista

  • I'm using Vista too, I think that is the problem, as it seems to be the only thing we have in common, that other people don't.

  • I figured it out. Go to control panel>Hardware and sound>Game controllers>Advanced>then choose the drum kit and press ok. It woked for me.

  • Same thing happened to me with joy2key, right click on shortcut and run it as administrator.

  • your video was a little confusing to me, but finally figured it out and works great. Thanks.

  • doesn't the samples cut out once you hit the next drum? sounds like you couldn't be hitting multiple buttons at once

  • Nope, it works just fine. Just make sure you turn up that sound so you can hear the sounds and not the drums.

  • just because your to retarded to under stand

  • slovenia AND drums are god's best creations

  • what country are you from? you have an english keyboard or close to it but you sound german or swedish.

  • You could look at his member profile and see that he's from Slovenia quicker than posting that message

  • some people have better things to do than browse peoples' youtube profiles. i just watch videos. thats all youtube is. it's not a networking site. get a life.

  • so instead youd rather post something then wait for a reply...

  • cool. i did this also a while back using a program called xpadder instead of joytokey. mine is the ps3 version. check it under my vids.

  • That's cool. I can't do it as I have none of that, but the process you went through is nice anyways :P. if that makes sense.

  • good video ive had fl studio for a while but i havent got the rockband drums yet so when i do ill try to figure this out
