I just don't understand why they make some main game characters look like ugly skin-heads. Since in 3D modeling you can do anything, why don't they make dudes look good, like Nathan Drake from Uncharted, or even Gordon Freeman (in a nerdy way) from Half Life?

Normal gamer dudes don't look like thugs with a shaved head, don't wear ghetto hoodies and don't have always a bummed stare (ehem Rockstar games...). You want the player to emotionally identify with the character, right? That's the point

I've owned and completed both games and I have to say I enjoyed inFAMOUS a lot more. I found the missions in inFAMOUS more enjoyable whereas I found Prototype missions tedious and repetitive. The graphics in inFAMOUS were amazing while Prototype seemed unpolished. Prototype is still a good game, but I just think inFAMOUS has more to it. One of the only things I liked about Prototype was how you could go to infected areas and just go around on a killing spree as Alex or hiding as a soldier.

It all depends on what kind of game you like. Infamous is more of a thinking-action game, where protoype is more of a run and gun game (i have both). There isnt a lot to do after you finish the story in protoype, which took very little time to finish. Infamous ive replayed like 7 times, and did most of the side missions. I dont see any faults in infamous, but i see many in prototype; it's hard to do much when you get blasted out of the sky every five seconds. It all just depends

I fucking beat both games twice and they're both amazing. Now I have no idea why people are comparing these games because they are complete opposites. Infamous is basically a third person comic book shooter with electricity with the emphasis on story. Prototype is a third person hack and slash with super powers with a focus on gameplay. their both great but comparing them just shows that you havent even played either one.

I mean killing random people for no reason whatsoever and calling yourself a hero is fun, but after the umpteenth time a horribly mutated monster dropped in the ceiling of the morgue, only to run away into the city, I got bored. I have beaten both sides on infamous and still play it just because its THAT FUN. I never get the same gameplay with a reaper, EVAR. I always get a different experience.
