i know several people have said how much glen looks like jake busey, but i have to say it also!if a film about glen or heaven 17 is ever planned, then jake surely has to be cast in the role of glen!other good candidates for other famous people would be tim matheson as shakin' stevens, and stuart townsend as ronnie o'sullivan!
Follow up to Sunset Now. Great chorus, percussion and string synth...All I remember originally of this video is Ian Craig Marsh wacking some number plate on a Tranny van. Video let's down a good song...should have held onto that money than chuck it out of the copter at the end.
The subject of the pressures of the corporate and business world seem to be a common element across many of their songs, especially Penthouse and Pavement, I'm Your Money and this song. I think they do a good job of making songs with sincere emotion and feelings about a subject most consider dull and unremarkable.
This is perhaps one of my favorites of theirs (along with Let Me Go, they seem to both be about the same subject about the pressures of living in the corporate world).
FYI: Heaven 17 (actually Martyn Ware and Ian Marsh) were once members of the Human League

Yes, I can see the resemblance. However, I prefer Glenn.

I just loved the way these guys constructed their songs.. the orchestration, everything. Not 'just' a synth band!

Superb stuff.
A great song and fine video to boot! From the days when Sheffield was undoubtedly one of the world's leading music cities.
This video characterises the "winner takes all/money matters" ethos of the 1980s.
