@rogerpotersnak Word doesn't matter. Ridiculous rumors spread through the press when Bond movies are in production, linking any number of singers and actors to the film. The theme song is usually one of the last things settled, and the producers probably won't even start thinking about who's doing the theme song until there closer to finishing shooting.

The host hummed the bond theme, and she blushed and wouldn't answer anything else about it. You are correct that she could be doing a different theme. You have to admit, it would make sense. She is huge right now and she seems to have the voice for a more classic sounding Bond theme.

I've just been following the production of the last couple of Bond movies close enough to know that a performer (actor, singer, or otherwise) who blushes and doesn't answer a question related to a Bond movie doesn't necessarily mean they actually are related to it.

By most accounts Bloodstone was decidedly mediocre, but as a Bond nut I loved it. Activision should have given this one a bigger budget. As it stands, it was severely lacking in big setpiece shootouts.

I think I speak for everyone when I say that this should have definitely been the opening music to Quantum of Solace. "Another Way To Die", I mean come on. What were they thinking bringing that new music rap crap to a Bond film?

Joss Stone (by listening to this song) sounds a bit like a newer version of Shirley Bassey who sung theme songs for about three different Bond films. I am very pleased with this song, it takes me back to the good ol' days of the better Bond films

@plykshow I ignored Alicia Keys made rap. I'm bored with people always bashing rap on youtube from the past two years, while rap was invented in the 70s and already topped the charts in 1980. Bored with stupid people that were not born when Run DMC, when 2pac, when De la Soul, when Eminem. @plykshow You don't speak for everyone, plykshow. IMHO, Jack White and Alicia Key's "Another Way to Die" ranks right up there with Tom Jones' "Thunderball" and Duran Duran's "A View to a Kill." I know that's not the majority opinion, but the cool thing is there are plenty of other Bond themes, and there will continue to be more, so when another artist gets a chance with "Skyfall", we can have this debate all over again.

As for Joss Stone's theme, it rocks.

But this is indeed a great bond theme, which is good to hear especially after the unmemorable Casino Royale theme and the terrible QoS theme. The quality of a bond film is measured by it's theme, think about it and it makes sense lol.

I don't think it will ever be on iTunes mainly becuase Richard Jacques (the game composer) posted the complete OST except this song on his official site. Even if it's there on iTunes, i doubt u'll have to pay for it.

Chris Cornell's was decent, i think actually either the original GoldenEye or The World is Not Enough had the best Bond themes... You Know My Name was a huge success mainly because people hated the Die Another Day theme and wanted something with a rock edge.
