  • not a fan of this film, doesn't do it right, but thats to be expected from a film, its gotta make money after all!

  • love this film! Does anyone know where I can get the soundtrack BESIDES amazon and iTunes?

  • "What do you think of getting a divorce?" "Far too logical."

    XD

  • I just came home and I will viewthis film right now on sitemoovis.co.cc. Manny people told me is great!

  • no. i do not want to go to "fillmsi" or whatever. i came here to watch a trailer of a movie i'm going to watch the good ole way: FROM THE LIBRARY.

  • he could play lou reed & robert mapplethorpe too.

  • Super!!!

  • A movie that you will either like or love... somehow lacking a sense of wholesomeness... I saw it at filmsi.co.cc... The movie doesn't mention dates at any time, does it? Having this information may change your interpretation completely.

  • this is ok movie..watched the full movie in webmovietube for free

  • The line 'if you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything', that the old guy says is a direct quote from The Script's song 'Fall For Anything'. XD. Can't wait for the movie at moovis.co.cc, though.

  • This is the best movie I've ever seen. I'm a real film buff, too. I've seen a lot of great films on filmsi.co.cc. This one makes the audience feel the agony of existence in an unbelievably sublime way.

  • It's on Netflix now.

  • MyY PrEcIoUs!!!!

  • Recommend to anyone who likes to watch truly good movie.. Because before I didn't see this movie, I thought it sucks..but than I saw this...and I must say I am impressed..ver good work done by director...Call your team and have fun with malifilmici.co.cc and this movie....

  • Wow I havent watched the trailer fully right now but it looks awesome haha! I love all those actors. I need to see this movie on malifilmici.co.cc.

  • The ending has the most power, which I personally did not see coming until the last moment. But in order to create such drama, setting the pieces out on the board is the tricky part. It is on kookíca already available for you.

  • The ending you can sort of see coming but the film as a whole is an enjoyable mysterious romance.Great sets and costumes. The visual effects are also well done, very subtle, which for this film is a necessity. You can see this movie at kookíca now.

  • All in all, these movie appeal to anyone and please everyone. A must own movie... For all the audience, for all ages... I'm sure you've all heard of this movie and believe me, it's well worth watching it not just ones.... kookíca has it for free! Go for it.

  • I still think this is still the best movie ever made, and I have seen some great films this past decade. I will see it again on kookíca.

  • there was this story,i liked it :)))

  • actually this was really really nice movie! i

  • This looks great. Will have to get it on DVD. Ian was 1 of the BEST! An inspiration to what people with disabilities are capable of. Andy Serkis IS Ian Dury, to a T!

  • one word to describe him.(british wil unterstand this...)

    unique filthy bastard !!!

    thank you Ian .

  • Could anyone tell me if there is a billy talent poster on the wall in the opening sequence of this movie?

    Thanks! :)

  • I've been pumped for this movie since I first started hearing/reading about it. I cannot wait to see this one. I swear this man is better than the best one. So I will see it on kòòkica now.

  • I didn't want to see this because Andy Serkis looked ridiculous in some screens i saw of him as Dury... But this trailer has intrigued me. R.I.P Ian.

  • Wow, I really wanna see this movie now.

  • one of my ALL time favourites!! anyone seen a picture of the real Denise?

i love ian dury and the blockheads. and baxter :)

  • Never heard such a shit in my life before. What a wanker!

  • @Wollenschrank ; takes one to even see that, all men are wankers - or liars.

    and you take the biscuit

  • @fazergadget

No, not all men are wanker! But maybe a looser like you without girlfriend! And for these men is music like the Dury-shit

  • @kafor1999 I'm gonna go out on a limb here. But I think that was the worse come-back ever. :P

  • @fazergadget Women who say things like 'all men are wankers or liars' are wankers, or liars.

  • @fazergadget is right

  • Can't get enough! Fan of both Dury & Serkis. Perfect casting! Can't wait until it's in wide release! One of the Greatest Wordsmiths of All Time! MAGNIFICENT!

  • Andy Serkis is the man!

  • after watching this, i loved ians music: "i'm not here to be remembered, i'm here to be alive!" "There are a couple of ways to avoid death and one is to be magnificent!" pure genius!

  • I was so lookin Forward to seein this, I grew up listenin to Ian Dury and the trailer looked brilliant but when I left the cinema I was very disapointed. Andy Serkis was exellent but the film was very slow, very borin in parts not at all like the trailer shows. Now a few months later I have got to watch it again just to make sure, gunna get it on DVD and give it another go!

  • my old mannnnnnnnnnnnn

  • Anky Serkis is superb!

  • すげええ!イアンデューリー!!セクシーでクールだ!

  • its smeagol?

  • @killergus12 Yup its Andy Serkis

  • @jordanafrank thats cause he fuckin is you fool. he was the actor that provided the basis for the expressions and movement and voice,.

  • People who cant appreciate Ian Dury know f all about music or poetry

  • wont see this even if u pay me 1000$, crap

  • Andy Serkis IS Ian Dury!

  • serkis acting was good but the music just planed sucked

probaly never heard of it till saw the movie..was brutal crap

  • From USA and a child of the 80s (mainly listening to punk while in the vicissitudes of growing up) I regret to say I never had an occasion to hear of Ian Dury. However Andy Serkis is a phenomenal actor who seems (by my opinion after watching the trailer) to fair rather well portraying a life of the man Dury who seems much more than some plain brit singer stuck in the promotion of the sounds of insipid pop; Dury seems much more than that! I look fwd to seeing the film.

  • Andy Serkis is a good actor.

  • Ian Dury was amazing, this film is obviously yucky sentimental bio-pic claptrap, too sad, but what can you do, every bio-pic is the same

  • Hey! its smeagol!

  • euargh, gollum and calypso?!?!?!?!?

  • hey it stars smiguel!!, this film looks awesome wanted 2 see it but was only in the cinema for five minutes

  • the song

sex sex drugs and rock and roll,

    soundtrack, who is the artist?

  • @TorianoVic : sorry, but are You kidding?

  • Yo creo que no.

  • guns n roses

  • no man

  • @TorianoVic Ian dury and the Blockheads. It's a film about Ian Dury.

  • Many Thanks!

  • One of the best Biopics ever. Like I Walk The Line but funny.

  • id go and see it just to see Andy Serkis ..what an character actor!!

  • my sister was siiting in his trailor chatting to him last week on the set of his new film Burke and Hare

  • put them on youtube then.

  • i saw this film yesterday in the Berlinale.

the director, actor, screen writer were there. the movie was good.

  • I can't belive I actually worked on this. I am an extra in the crowd of the concert scenes. i'll have to buy the bloody dvd to see myself. They filmed those scenes at Watford palace Theater on may 2009. Andy had to do the GOODEVENING scene ten times, and one time during S.A.D.A.R.A.R he lost his lines and siad, F**k F**k F**k F**kety F**kety F**k! it was real funny. too bed i didnt get his number. This is jonathan shaw, signing out

  • it looks good i tought the doors with val kilmer was shit but i loved sid and nacy and this looks as original

  • @jifkitchen

  • wat age is this movie

  • brilliant film. saw it. Great! The acting is magnificent and the music is amazing. great story too! I recommend it to anyone! a great movie all round! Ian Dury was a great lyicist but the movie shows he was an incredible arsehole but the movie leaves out his work for unicef and the years after when Ian had cancer (bed of roses no.9 is about it). that is the only problem with this otherwise magnificent film.

  • Whats the song in the middle of this trailer?

  • CrystalShadows the song is hit me with your rythm stick

  • fuck off nazeerbrandenburg93 you lying cunt its not even on there

  • All I have to say is I WANT TO SEE THIS!!

  • A bit over dramatised. however, not a bad representation. He was my mate. RIP fella...Love to u Baxter et al. XX

  • the only 80's tune i like. this guys looks and sounds just like ian dury. cant wait to see it

  • Ian Dury was not a great singer, but he WAS a great vocalist. His style was unique as was his song-writing, Sweet Gene Vincent, Blockheads, My Old Man, What a Waste, Reasons - like him or not he contributed and left somethign behind him. More than you can say for many plastic pop acts in the years that followed

  • Too right mate! I personally loved it....

  • Andy Serkis is brilliant in it, with a mostly uncanny likeness to Ian Dury. Because of it, I think the film will be judged more on his performance than the actual film itself - so lots of awards on the way. As for the film itself, the trailer shows it as constant mayhem i.e. 'rock 'n roll', but there's a lot of sensitivity in it too. I thought it was a well-balanced, well-acted movie with some great Dury songs in it. Music fans should see it and judge it for themselves. Ian Dury was significant!

  • I can't agree with that. I was 13 when Rhythm Stick came out and it completely trounced everything else in the charts. He'd unleashed something refreshing original, which still rocks today. He released a number of great, great songs. He wasn't The Beatles but he has certainly earnt a respected spot in UK music history. While most people just sound like a variation of someone else, he did not. Whether you like his music or not, anyone doing something original deserves respect for that.

  • Too arty? Remember he was a talented painter and illustrator BEFORE he was a singer. That's probably why its arty.

  • The 80's had a sound????????? Only one decade out. Doesn't bode well for the rest of the film if they make a mistake like that on the trailer.

  • @hotdognights

Bear in mind, trailers are usually made by advertising companies, not the filmmakers. That's why trailers hardly ever show the film like it actually is.

  • I agree, the 80's were good for 80's Synth-Pop, 60's & 70's were great for rock. (:

  • gotta see this looks like mckenzie crooks playing norman

  • Was really lookin forward to seein this film but when I did it wasnt that good. Andy Serkis was brilliant, he played the part so well, but the film makers tried to make it too arty. It was a disapointment.

  • cant wait to see it at the cinema of course!

  • that's called piracy : and helps films like this to NOT get made in future : pirates should stay at sea or appear in films not ruin people's livelihoods !

  • amazing film, just got back from the cinema. Andy Sirkis is brilliant in it 5*

  • @Evangiesslere Clearly not a film or music fan that you are to lazy to go and pay to watch at the cinema. Luckily there are poplel out there who will otherwise these films would never get made. I am going onto movie hub now to get it removed.

  • Taken as "red

    "Subject: sex and drugs and

    Anagram: Granddads nexus

  • why are you not normally in favour of non-disabled people playing disabled people ?

  • @texaspete66

It' simply because there are plenty of disabled actors out there now. It's just about trying to keep a level playing field. If more disabled actors got to play non-disabled people or stereotypes then it would be fair game but they tend to only get picked for disability roles as it is. That said, Andy Serkis and Daniel Day-Lewis have obviously really worked hard to get an understanding of their roles and I applaud them both.

  • I'm not normally in favour of non-disabled actors playing disabled people - bit like white people 'blacking-up'. But Andy Serkis has done a great job here, very respectful without the pity. Dury was my hero as another disabled person, he showed a different side to the usual charity case stuff portrayed on TV.

  • @Coltyr good point well made!

  • i saw this film the other day and Andy Serkis plays Ian Dury really well! he must really have studied him. great film, i found out alot of things i didn't know about him. if your a fan its definitely worth a watch. ^_^

  • dunno but it was probably really gay

  • Bolckheads were great and am very much looking forward to viewing the flick..

  • Gotta luv Ian Drury. Genius. Flawed, but a genius.

  • ian dury. legend.

  • this looks fucking good

  • hopefully this movie will give ian and the blockheads music the credit it deserves and some well overdue exposure to one of britains best ever bands .... im a people kinda person im a geezer kinda guy !! oi oi !

  • Just got a pair of tix for free screening tomorrow..mwahahahah

  • How?

  • from sff

  • Lat time I saw Ian Dury was Ilford Odeon 1978. Did the earth move?

  • "I aint the pope am I"

    Looks awesome, cant wait

  • yes - 15

  • A bit inaccurate to imply that Ian Dury was the sound of the 80s. His most successful period was in the late 70s with the album New Boots and Panties and the hit singles What A Waste, Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick and Reasons To Be Cheerful Part Three.

A much missed talent, and this trailer suggests a brilliant portrayal by Andy Serkis.

I wonder if there'll be a film about the other great witty singer songwriter who died within a year of Ian Dury, Kirsty MacColl.

  • Our Film/Movie of the Week.

  • Can't wait to see this film.
