@OllyOllyOxenFree777 it was winter they kinda uh i dont know hibernate at that time and waspes do hibernate i mean wouldnt you want to go to sleep for two seasons after working your ass off you whole intire life i know i would
lmao . im doing this on sunday at my friends house :L typed in burning wasps nest to see if anyone else had done it :P and they have xD genius xD ill post the video probably before next sunday xD subbed ! xD
lol i just placed a mini candle rite underneith a hornet hive bout the size of a full blown balloon they were so pissed cuz they couldnt do anything about it LOL til their whole hive was extinquished
you didn't kill them they were dead in the first place in december they die because the weather and come back in the spring just not in the same spot. well i think
theres this fucking wasp nest where i live witch has srug me 3 times my dad and sister twice and stings my dogs every time im gona fucking burn it down tonight
i had a nest in my garden in my bin so i got some insect killer... that didnt work so then i got petrol + blowtorch and that sorted it out they were still comin back and choking on smoke
Yes, as opposed to the warm season when I could get attacked. The nest was located in the greenbrier and was exposed after leaf drop. I had no idea it was there until after Thanksgiving as this is near my house.
because they abandom there nests in december or something like that, either way there is no hornets or bees or whatever in there so he put it in the title before somebody complains that he is being mean (i personally hate wasps cos i was stung when i was little D: )
That totally made sense. The reason why I put the time of year is simple - no bald-faced hornets should have survived the cold weather prior to the date of torching the nest. Therefore the video is what it states - a burning of the nest. No live hornets were seen, despite temperatures in the 20's and an inch of snow cover.
Naw, they all die and the nest gets abandoned. Only fertilized queens dig in somewhere and hibernate. It'd be cool if we saw a bunch of flaming critters come flying out of there though.
Just a few seconds before the video started I set a piece of newspaper on fire and lit the nest. While holding the newspaper (and camera of course) the flames spread too close for comfort, so I dropped it in the snow. You can hear me say "oops". One little gust of wind rekindled the smoldering nest around :29

my dads solution to a wasp nest (in aus you dont get many hornets) was gas and a match plus some aero sol can worked great aparently
nebonit 2 years ago
It's winter. No hornets survive longer than till November. The nest is dead.

it says it so he dosnt get animal rights protesters up his ass

why would animal rights protestors care what time of year it was? besides they're just hornets and those peta freaks only care about cuddly critters
