You are leaving serious notes out of the riff at 1:04---dumbing it down---and then the chords are wrong at 1:17---just wrong. Get a book or figure it out, but OUCH, man, I wouldn't leave this up if I were you.
Despite his weird chubby fetish, he is right about missing notes and wrong chords. Please for the love of God hold your pick right, get your thumb on the neck, and use your freaking pinky. Breaking these bad habits will make you a better player.
@JGarcia658 FLASH---pro musicians don't go around putting up crap amatuer vids. I see you are in your fucking living room---ever play out, wanker? Own up to your own mediocrity. You have simplified a very cool riff due to your suckage---man up about it. Oh, God, I have to listen to this shit while I type, OWWWWWWW
@SlappyFrankenstein The hell they are wrong, Obviously it's a different scale. And guitars as any other instrument can be played in different scales. Repeatedly doing the same scale hurts your fingers.
Bugger off, go mess with someone else's video. I think this is good stuff for a semi-acoustic..
Great playing!.. would love to have a go at that but cant find the backing track anywhere on the web, well not one that sounds like the original. Can you help?
-----The real song that the 007 theme is derived from is an early Pink Floyd song named "Lucifer Sam." It was written by Syd Barret of Pink Floyd and it was about his crazy cat, Lol. It's in the key of "B," with a kickin' surf riff throughout the song. Like I said though, It is only derived from the song, it does sound a tad different on the album, (The Piper at the Gates of Dawn, 1967). I just thought you'd all like to know! Very cool playin' btw!
Honestly...... Idk, Lol! It was just the album the song was featured on. Maybe they wrote the song long before then and only released it on that album as a special or something. ..... I didn't know that movie came out that early. This was just info I found off the internet a while ago and thought it was interesting also. You can hear the similarities, though.
Wow, I wish I could play this well :) Great job!

Upon closer inspection, I see that you do use your pinky. But it is much easier to play scales with your thumb on the neck.

How did they get a copy of syd's song in 1962? He would have only still been in school and too young to be high or on acid.
