Some mineshafts are real hard to find and on servers no matter even if nothing is above them and light they got o yellow stema nd stop growing!!! Helpppp!!!! Server has enabled them to grow but they still wont!

I have to say, that mine shaft's are good for mining stuff(if the shaft is deep enough,you can even start looking for DIAMONDS!!!! >:D)

why?

well, because you can go and collect the wooden planks that are around in the whole mine shaft and turn them into sticks,so that you could LOOTS of tools to mine in the mines....FOREVER!!!!

i play minecraft on private server with a friend we are lucky as hell. we played for about 2 hours and found a mineshaft with melon seeds, now we play on another world and we are about 6 hours in the game and we already made a xp farm (cave spider) and i found a skeleton spawner 20 blocks from the spider spawner.

I find abandoned mines all the damned time. It's kind of annoying because they tend to be full of useless junk, little to no minerals, and are infested with spiders, which scare the shit out of me when they pop out of nowhere and leap at me.
