It's really good to hear your opinion on this one, i was happy with what i did in this cover, with the video and the audio, it represents a step in the right direction for me. Unfortunately, most of the people who regularly follow me boycotted this one because it's a Rihanna tune. I'd hoped that more of them might be open to me trying new stuff and be understanding of the need to try and grow my channel.

@liamfraser280 Great to hear from you Liam, thank you man, i think i need all the support i can get on this one. A few people have voiced their discontent at me covering Rihanna already. I wouldn't mind, but my version sounds nothing like Rihanna. It seems i created a bubble for myself :/

@axl77 No worries mate, just keep them coming! People will voice their opinions but it's your channel so your music tastes :). My channel is pretty dead at the moment. Went to the leeds festival and wrecked my voice a bit from shouting along, almost back now though, just have to build up my stamina again! Singing teacher/doctor said should be all good by end of January so not too bad :)

@liamfraser280 Sometimes i feel as though im employed by people on here. It's fun doing a YouTube channel, but once you get a certain amount of followers, who know you for doing one particular thing (in my case singing like Axl Rose and doing Bon Jovi covers) , they are reluctant to accept, listen or support you in the majority of other things you want to do. They just want more of the same. It's not that im not grateful, it's just that i have a lot more to offer than just doing GNR covers.

@GNRinfluenced i completely agree. I'd like to think i'm about as open minded as you can get. I love all forms of music, from the little heard folk singers down the local pub, to a massive philharmonic orchestra, to the MTV pin up, it's all chords and melodies and it can be shaped in any way you want it to be, just so long as you don't close yourself off. Great comment!
