  • Lmao was that George that tripped and fell in the end? Hahaha... I love these guys. They make me feel all giddy inside

  • 3:28

    "hi gurls"

    KILLED ME!!!!!!!

    <3

  • the diffrence of music these days and back then

    1963=I wanna hold your hand

2012= i wanna hold your ass

    who agrees?

  • This happened when the Barbie Doll was destroying all the values instilled by Walt Disney.Paul McCartney did not marry a Barbie Doll-he married an animal activist, a vegan who raised Paul's consciousness. And now Paul is telling the whole world to stop the torture and eating of animals.Julian Lennon, the son of John, made a movie called Whaledreamers, telling the world to halt the killing of whales and other fish.Sharon Tate, role model for Malibu Barbie, was viciously slaughtered to death.

  • george was always my favorite.

  • @2fast109 George gave away gazillions to anonymous charities. Hmmmm.....

  • pop stars make girls scream ... at Beatles concerts they were carrying girls out on stretchers !

  • What I believe is the saddest thing for music is the era of the band is gone forever. Now it's about dressing up like an idiot, going to a stadium with 90,000 others, where a DJ spins canned music and this is entertainment ala... Electric Daisy Concert or a shit rap no talent concert. Our youth are morons. I think about the Beatles (the greatest) and all those bands before and after them and now it is all gone. It was the greatest time ever and our young will never know!

  • @Guido8943 Fuck you, get off your little high horse ass and stop actting like your better than todays youth, I understand The Beatles are amazing and there will never be anything as good as them but respect other peoples music choice and dont go off about young people being morons, you dont know us. im 16 and i love The Beatles and I know almost all my friends feel the same about The Beatles. And it's not gone, The Beatles will be forever.

  • @15fvp Most of you, (not all of you) are morons and you just proved my point with your comment.

  • @Guido8943 How?

  • 7:58-8:01 umm ouch! lol

  • i wish i was born in that era!!

  • some of the clips in this series of vids needs some serious pitch correction to get them back to original speed/pitch

  • DESPUES DE JESUCRISTO VIENEN LOS BEATLES Y ,NADA MAS

  • @TheRickylenon vale carnal.

  • Really nice documentary. I like revisiting. thank-you

  • i cried while watching this :')

  • satans little helpers.

  • A little perspective on the glitter machine & what it "hurls".The Beatles came to U.S. audiences weeks after the Kennedy assassination .We were all pretty bummed to put mildly. The advance publicity for the Beatles -engineered by Brian Epstein showing the Cavern Club packed with screaming British babes only stoked the intensity. Elvis had that effect from day 1 .Sinatra ? The same & Valentino -before them all .The problem is that Bieber & Gaga are just BOGUS.

  • Whats the song at 5:00 ?

  • @voltageguitarist ive just seen a face

  • "There was a joyousness to it.."..can I qoute you on that Miss State the Obvious ?..right you are Dick, still to this very day nothing quite as annoying as the mindless screaming of mindless teen-age girls at high-volume..just saw Justin Bieber on Ellen Degeneress...against my will..thats the reason the Beatles stopped touring, if you'll remember..my ears, they bleed ; }

  • WHY DID I HAVE TO BE BORN IN THE 90'S!

  • @ilagoncss ikr

  • At 4:53, I am hearing "I've Just Seen A Face", apparently with the lyrics having some relevance to what is being shown. However, that song would not be recorded until 1965; 1st record it was on was the British "Help!" album (and still later in the U.S., as leadoff of U.S. version of "Rubber Soul").

  • holy shit I wish I was one of them beatlemania girls, it looks so fun!

  • @photolitherland and o' course now they're being whored out by the Jonas Bros. and other "musicians".

  • "And... Ringo was the best." Poor Ringo.

  • im number 200!

    i love the song

    im only sleeping

  • Her intro is spot-on. Many will never understand unless they were there unfortunately.

  • what's the song at 5:10?

  • 'I've just seen a face' from the Rubber Soul album

  • okay thanks for giving the name of song!

  • its on help not rubber soul

  • help in UK rubber soul in US

  • My favorite song by them =D

  • I've just seen a face

  • I've Just Seen A Face!

  • whats the name of the song at 4:43

  • Can't Buy me love

  • george is the best

  • Beatles on Ed Sullivan Feb. 9, 64 Paul jumped the gun with the count to All My Loving. 73m people tuned in-a record. 50K ticket requests for 703 seats. Eppstein-manager-bought most and sat girls in middle rows. Crime dropped in most major cities, and in NYC cabbies & bus drivers got out to watch on the TV's in store windows. Also appearing on the show for his part in Oliver, another young lad, Davey Jones who became lead singer for The Monkees. Post more interesting bits if u know any.

  • whoa, didn't know. Interesting facts

  • Actually the truth is the first song they sang on Ed Sullivan was All my Lovin and not She Loves You....

  • that is answer

the beatles are the greatest bad of all time

  • Whats the first song they sing on the Sullivan show? She loves you yeah yeah!

  • its called She Loves You

  • Actually the firt song they sang on Sullivan was All My Loving

  • the stones are the second best selling band in the world as of today. their still performing and making music. only a hand-full of bands have survived sence the early '60s. thats an accomplishment in itself.

  • Hate to admit it but I believe abba is number 2.

  • no led zeppelin is ranked 2 in sales behind the beatles.look it up.

  • you are wrong led zeppelin is ranked second in sales behind the beatles not the stones.look it up.

  • Paul's my favorite, too....he's so dreamy even to this day.

  • zepp maybe but the stones?

  • The BEATLEs were a masterstroke in the 1960's.....The biggest group in the world ,not just in the 1960's ...BUT FOR ALL TIME!

  • I'm not sure what you mean by this question. Throughout SHE LOVES YOU, John and Paul sing together, with John on lead. At no point is Paul soloing.

  • "Crew Cuts and Conformity"

    good line that.

  • wat was that song at 7:17

  • I Saw Her Standing There From Please Please Me By The Beatles, Voted 39# Best Album From All Time By The Rolling Stones, 500 Best Albums Of All Time!!!

  • i didnt kno tht thnx

  • "I Saw Her Standing There"

  • I Saw Her Standing There by Paul.

  • thank you very much :))

  • what is that music between 0:55 and 1:09? does anyone know?

    plz? :)

  • Eleanor Rigby (Beatles)

  • Eleanor Rigby by Paul/TheBeatles

  • off the love album begining of Elinor rigby..

    steve

  • Wow the Beatles were incredibly explosive in the 60's... I hope they're never forgotten. Teenage girls went insane over them! They were practically tearing apart their car to get at them...

  • You're missing the point of using the modern stars. Most of them weren't even born until after the Beatles broke up and they are still fans and influenced by them. 30 years from now do you think anyone will care about Madonna or p diddy? no but they will still know and care about the Beatles and that's the point.

  • hell yeah

  • they will probly care about madonna but not p diddy cuz madonna been around for 20 years shes 50 now and she is still popular but anyways you have a good point the beatles will always be the bigest thing ever i love the beatles

  • @gettyman1 hell people were just starting to care about madonna 30 years ago!

  • omg 1.48 how fast is this guy talking lol

  • I really can't believe how these creators of documentaries consider interviewing people like the spice girls, n'sync members, and so many irrelevant so-called superstars, rubbish actors, and politicians to talk about a band so enormous and significant as The Beatles.

Twiggy makes sense...of course but Kate Hudson? Come on! More Pete Townshend, less Garth Brooks. and for the sake of respect, thier "number one fan" is not only Mike Myers but millions of people.

  • I agree, but you have to think that in 2000 those artist were "hip". They shouldve stuck mainly with filming the opinions of the artist/actors/host that were actually alive then and knew what was going on.

  • agreed.they should interview clapton and page not spice girls or n'synch

  • you cannot disregard the opinion of a guy like Garth Brooks on this. He's a music legend who obviously was influenced by the Beatles, who were influenced in many ways by country-western music.

  • beatles were influenced by buddy holly, little richard, chuck berry and elvis not country music.

  • George Harrison, you know, the dude who played lead guitar in The Beatles, was heavily influenced by Carl Perkins, Chet Atkins and other country guitar players.

Listen to "Beatles For Sale". Country influence abound on that album...

  • well no shit.

  • thats just one beatle all the beatles were influenced by the guys i named only george was influenced by carl perkins.

  • That's a ridiculously uninformed opinion.

Early Rock & Roll came out of the south, and was born out of country music. Elvis first recorded at Sun Studios in Memphis, during the same period that Perkins and Jerry Lee Lewis were making records. Buddy Holly was from Texas, Little Richard from Georgia.

If you don't think John, Paul and Ringo were influenced by "Blue Suede Shoes" I really don't know what to tell you.

  • its not an opinion its fact and just cause music comes from ther south doesnt mean its country the beatles were from england yet they didnt sing with any british accents in fact when they sing you dont even hear accents if you bothered to read books on the beatles youd know that all the beatles didnt like that song blue suede shows even george didnt like it was one of the few songs he didnt like by carl perkins so much for ur info.

  • Wow, that wall of completely unrelated nonsense really told me.

You can keep denying all you want, but the styles of 50's country music/early Rock & Roll are almost indistinguishable, and the Beatles' influences encompassed many genres of music. The group wasn't just indulging George by covering all of those Perkins numbers. They liked them too.

  • nonsense?i get my facts from beatle books people who knew the beatles liuke geoff emerick ur just a retard, little richard and chuck berry dont even come close to country you fool not to mention the isley brothers and the impressions when interviewed the beatles have said english colored groups were their biggest influences u can see proof of that here on youtube.

  • "English coloured groups????"

    Give us the quote.

  • @mgpixlab

What is with people like you?! Why exactly are they irrelevent, becasue YOU don't like them? They were obviously influenced and loves this band just like you and everyone else. What law said that only musicians and singers like the stones or the who was only supposed to be interviewed. I don't like the Jonas Bro's but if they were interviewed in a special like this about the Beatles I'm not going to complain about it, if they love the Beatles then why not be interviewed.

  • It's good to see the well-known musicologist and cultural commentator Kate Hudson on here sharing her views. Thanks Kate!

  • john's squat dance

    never to be duplicated

  • yeah Clinton was way jealous of the poo tang the Beatles were getting over him. jealous is not the word. :)))))))))))))))))))))

  • you know what I'd pay money to see?

A video of John and Paul walking up to one of those crazy fans, kissing her on each side of the cheek, and SEEING HER REACTION.

    lol

  • whats the song at 7:06

  • I saw her standing there

  • 2nd best early beatles song

  • Amazing todays band not get even close to the kind of reaction they provocate into their fans!!

  • lol at the fact that under john's name was "sorry girls, he's married"...LoL

  • I'm a 13 year-old beatles fan and least I have the opportunity to meet paul or ringo if they come to new york.

  • who cares if ur 13 it doesnt matter wat age u are to love and enjoy the beatles and there music!

  • RM Henderson, thank you so much!

  • damn, i wish i couldve seen them

  • I so often wonder what it would have been like had John F. Kennedy lived to meet the Beatles. That would have been something to see!

  • JK Rowling is fab for loving George :)

  • Seems like I saw this on TV back in about 1999 or 2000. I never got to see the end of it. I'm glad to see it here.

  • yeah, it was 2000. i remember it being on tv, even though i wasn't a fan back then *shame on me*.

  • did anybody realize that these girls are having multiple orgasms every time they are screaming out loud. Beatles = My role models.

  • the 60s were not conservative times, the 50s yes, but the 60s was the decade of experimentation, sex and partying

  • I was born in 62 , but i can still remember my brother 13 yrs older than me playing revolver for me in his bed room...i was 4 yrs old..

  • Nice one dick! glad to hear you amit you were wrong! :)

  • I really wish I was born in the 50's so I too could get to be a teen in the 60's. I wish I was one of those girls and just scream over Paul McCartney at one of those concerts. My mom said when she was a kid, the Beatles came to a city nearby, and her neighbor and the girl's older sister went to the concert. She said her sister had fainted from screaming so much! Hah.

  • well, that happened alot at their concerts, and just seeing them walking anf FAINT!

  • ahh.. i wish i would have been borm in the 50's too. I love Paul Mccartney isn't he adorable?!!

  • i'd do anything to go back to the 60s ! i'd suck 500 dicks.i dont care.....i'd even listen to fall out boy for a whole year ! i swear !!!! :D !!!

    TRUE :)!!!!

  • i'd do anything to go back to the 60s ! i'd suck 500 dicks.i dont care.....i'd even listen to fall out boy for a whole year ! i swear !!!!

  • Hahahah!....How many would you suck????? ;0)

Yeah, I'd give anything to be born in the 40/50s so I could have witnessed the 60s firsthand. What a unique decade in history. So much change politically, socially, and most important of all musically.

  • i'd do anything also, but i don't think i'd suck ANYTHING!!!! LOL!

  • Id probably be crying and screaming like those girls if I saw them live.

  • the beatles are awsom

  • And, I thought I was obsessed with The Beatles!

    Look at those girls scream!

    I know how they feel

    Maddie "The 60s Freak"

  • One of my favorite bands for sure. I wish music was this good today. Will music every be this good again? Hopefully in my lifetime. John Lennon was my favorite Beatle although I still love Paul. And I like George because he had a quiet cool and Ringo was funny. N'Stink and 98 Disease don't hold a candle to The Beatles. Those guys ruined the late 90s and killed music.

  • i dont like the fact that in the 60's ppl couldnt could go to jail or ignored only cuz he have long hair.. :s thats crazy..

  • I don't like it either but that was the 60s. Very conservative times.

  • the whole WORLD would have held their hands!! (and FUCKING STOP THOSE GOD DAMNED CHAIN MESSAGES!!!!)

  • Magnificent piece of evidence regarding the birth of the Beatles.

  • priceless... bill clintonwas there

  • I was that girl saying "WE WANT THE BEATLES".

  • REALLY?

  • seriously ? !

  • <3! Luv, luv!
