  • been listening to a lot of these types of songs tonight even though i don't know them its excellent as i am fed up with Justin Biba and Rihanna Rubbish

  • In 1966, if a chick strung you along, took you for a ride, then destroyed your heart, it meant she was a bitch. In 2011, if the same thing happens, it means you're a chump.

  • @gwugluud That's why you always talk to other girls to fool her into thinking she means nothing to you. Then she'll give you some cookie.... Well you probably shouldn't care anyway...

  • "The touchables", 1968, directed by Robert Freeman.

  • (i'm just a girl but i do understand these feelings in a guy. they used to frustrate me but not anymore. he needs to get it out of his system. i just stick by his side and prove him wrong.) :-)

  • @thisgalaintdancinmr

it's weird that while men and women are Supposedly Equal nowadays, All the Responsibilities and the Expectations are being forced on the Men more than ever before. as a Woman i have access to all kinds of books and ladies mags and talk show programs and whatnot that "teaches" one how to pretty much "catch a man", what a pile of Gobshite excuse my French. they do Not teach how to actually Love A Man and Be His Friend. (only how to intimidate him.) :-(

  • @thisgalaintdancinmr

..and how to put a lot of pressure on him and keep him in suspense and make him as insecure as possible, how to empty his wallet if you will :-( (while the Men's mags are even worse, they teach him how to look & seem more rich in order to lay more women hah hah) ..Society Is So Full Of crap. only True Friendship can prevail. (and True Love Will Grow out of that.)

  • @thisgalaintdancinmr There's no way that you're a female. But females obviously have made you lose your mind -- I'm probly there myself. I feel for you, dude.

  • I'm glad you're back!

  • Nice!!!!

  • dmshogfan you have a cool dad

  • what movie are these clips from?

  • So, cool!!!! This is my dad singing this song. Along with his brothers (my uncles) singing background. The name of their band is "The Light Brigade". I am just curious, where did you find this record?

  • @dmshogfan Oh, really, dm? Prove it.

  • The other side of the record is "Lonnie's Song". Lonnie Cole is my uncles (bass player) Dean Cole (my dad - lead singer and rhythm guitar) Ray Cole (my uncle - drummer and other lead singer). They grew up in Little Rock, Arkansas. Traveled to many states, mostly to Panama City, FL where there booking agent was out of there. Any of questions or ways that you want me to prove it?

  • Well, a photo of you and your kind, but, I'll go with that. No offense, you understand, it's just, well, it's so easy to say things like that.

  • yeah, I understand. I will get some pics posted. I don't have a scanner though. Give me a little time. I work, I am a wife and a mom/stepmom to five. Anyway, you never did tell me where you got the record. Just curious? My dad and the band played alot of 60's and 70's top 40 classic rock. When I get some time I will try to post some of their later music. However, they are not together and don't jam anymore. Not all of them are in the best of health.

  • Sorry, just talked to my dad. The other side of the record "Won't you tell me". He said that the record had their names on it. The record label is "My" records.

  • @dmshogfan Dmshogfan, I don't think I ever mentioned I got the record *misunderstanding here, perhaps or replying to another poster?* I know too well that these gentlemen are no longer in their youth, I understand this (they are not the first nor will they be the last, my sentiments for all of them, nevertheless) Take your time, you know? On second thought, you seem so candid about it, don't even bother. I believe you : )

  • Sorry, I am just a small town girl. Thought it was neat that I found my dad's original song on here. Even though that my dad's band didn't make it to the "big times", I am proud. They made some good music. I can't post some of their music because it would be illegal.

  • @dmshogfan Don't bother, small town girl, it's all good. I believe you. And you have every right to be proud. These songs here made people happy then and now....: )

  • another good song and video.

  • Judy Huxtable became Judy Cook after her marriage to Peter Cook. She is most famous for her part in the cult 1968 short musical ' Les Bicyclettes de Belsize'.
