He fell, he looked ok, he was in his home, and didn't break ONE law. He just said he didn't want to go to the hospital. The cops cannot order someone to go, and tell them they will be arrested and taken , and then taser them if not! In addition his wife told the cops he had a heart condition! He wasn't even threatening the cops!

I am training for my EMT certifications and we discussed consent issues today. Well, I already lost faith in humanity since our cops are tasering old people instead of busting up drug rings or catching rapists. A lot of these problems stem from civil immunity for police officers.
If you or I did something like this, not only would we be criminally charged, we would face a civil case where our ASSETS like home and bank account would be up for grabs for damages.
Police have something called civil immunity. If a cop violates your rights, you can NOT even sue the cop individually in civil court.
If civil immunity were removed from individual police officers, a lot of this crap would stop.
