@emali111 Found the movie. It doesn't show his best friend taking him anywhere. It shows them (Kevin Bacon & Jon) having beers together at a bar but it never shows his friend (Bacon) with him when he leaves or goes to the strip clubs. The only thing I didn't like is the geography appears all messed up. It leaves you to believe they're in New Orleans or nearby but then again there's the song in the background along w/footage of Jersey & New York City. I've been to all 3 so I recognized it.

@emali111 I'm sure the close ups and the scenes inside the apartment & probably even the street outside the apartment were likely on a set somewhere but the background views they show throughout the movie are from, as I said, three different places & I've been to all three, well I've been to 2 & the 3rd, the strip club where he's at is actually spot-on for the decor of a few strip clubs I've been to where I've met up w/friends b4 heading to blues & jazz clubs + been to NO for Mardi Gras & Cinco

@PaisleyPlace Ok, the only parts not from the film are Jon singing. The movie is based on the album which is why the film is not actually set in New Orleans (cox the sing was written first). And I just assumed that his friend went with him because they were talking about 'how men deal with their problems'. (I didn't really watch that part too closely coz i'm a 16 year old girl and don't have a habit of watching half naked girls!)

They overdid the makeup but it's actually pretty in person b/c they have to wear stage makeup b/c of the lights. Reg makeup would melt off in a matter of mins btw dancing & lights. W/o makeup or w/lighter stage makeup, she's probably a beautiful woman. I swear, there's so many prudes here & I am a woman! I've been 2 New Orleans; I lived near yrs ago.
