i used to deliver free food to these apartments. after a time i realized the people who lived here just wanted to take and did not want to help themselves. it was a real eye-opening experience.
What a waste, you cant tell me there is not federal money somewhere to tear these eyesores down, and give working poor people a chance to a life. People loosing their homes left and right , and this space and land is just wasting away.
These apartments were built back in the 80s and early 90s. Unlike Franklin, I hope the next mayor can get rid of these apartments and start some type of development like Atlantic Station or Midtown.
zone 6 second ave. dem meadows east hampton apt. pebblebrook apt. decatur projects egdewood kirkwood moreland ave flatshoals candler rd. glenwood mcafee bouldercrest rd. sun valley real zone 6 shit fuck nigga!
For real tho i grew up in Bridgeport Connecticut in Father Panic Village Projects. The most Dangerous High-riser Projects on the east coast if not the world foreal! Go head and Google it. Google ''last farewell to father panic village projects''. A broadway producer from South Carolina made a broadway show all about how we lived and how some even survived living in such a intense dangerous place.
I heard about it my aunt stayed up there for a while they aint have nothing on techwood down here in the A though those were named by congress as the most dangerous project in the country...it was wild
never mind...they are called Flipper Temple Apts on abner terrace 30318.....i did research online because things like that bother the hell out of me til i think of the name...they have a similar construction like gartrell ct. they are still open. Another one is one my friend used to live in called peachcrest gardens by the old avondale mall
Indeed my friend... the Flipper Temple is a well respected neighborhood. I used to chill in there when I was in high school. They had a good bootleg that would hook up my folks and I. Try looking at my zone 1 montage. I think Flipper Temple is pictured in it.
oh yes, i had to look it up because i kept wondering. i had described these apartments on another video. the name of the streets (community) that they are located in or near are: ajax dr, clarissa dr, mary george ave, abner pl, amo dr, off hollywood. i don't think it's a public housing complex but it would fit in (if it's still there)
i know that's right. have you filmed the following: there are some apartments in a very hilly area off of when marietta (i think) splits and turns into hollywood...just after the split to the left. they are at the bottom of a big hill...when i say hilly i mean steep inclines. in the hollywood rd area. i had to deliver flowers in that area one day and found it. it's still open though...can't remember name
Naw but good eye... Essex Court has that same middle section that opens up. These gray apartments are on Holly St. ,t he same street as those yellow apartments and the Pit. I'm going to get some Essex Court up as soon I as I can figure why my videos aren't uploading anymore.
No pics of Perry Homes, I wish I had some, but if you type in "True Westside Story" -it's under my favorites- the clip highlights the Good Fellas and shows some of Perry Homes.
They should move the crack heads and crack whores there to get them out of the nice neighborhoods.
