  • Yeah extra virgin olive oil has a low flash point, so it's actually better to use canola oil for high-heat cooking while keeping the fat level low (which is why it's very popular to use in restaurants for frying and such). I use coconut oil if I want a sweeter tasting meat, poultry, or fish, it's amazing and works great with high temperatures too, though it does contain a higher level of fat than canola, great for flavor.

  • just did this, it came ourt perfect, i did sauteed mushrooms n onions to add something to it aswell
