That's proberly the best advice I can give you.. otherwise try a diffrent button layot on you controller?

@messatsu1981 input the bold move as down + atk + s, then press down + s for the teleport. this buffers the first down input of the teleport into the bold move thus making it easier. so that would be f+H xx d+ATK+S, D+S

@pollepollepolle222 no ibuki super jump yu buffer the ultra then at the end cancel in a up foward motion. dante bold cancel yu press stinger then bold cancel then as the the bold cancel is coming out yu do a special move like volcano.

@and1aoballa09 Dante's bold move is a jump, yes, but there is a certain amount of frames before he officially leaves the ground called "pre jump frames", and in these frames you are allowed to cancel into specials/etc. so this is how it works! It's quite quick and you wont be able to pick it up with the naked eye since it happens within 60ths of a second but if you somehow downloaded this video and watched it frame by frame you would see it.

U don't have to hold forward for the whole time(i do that cause im lazy) but when u do 6h for stinger then just do 6atk+spec then a simple 23M.

What I do is that I hold the forward button until after I hit the bold cancel. So it's like 6L, 6M, 6H, 6atk+s then just do a 23M for volcano because the forward part has been registered when doing the 6atk+s it works for me

what i allways do with dante is that ill do his down circle to do the repid jab thingy then string it to his other foward jab thingy withhis sword then while he in mid air i nag him with dantes 3rd special

This is a great explanation of how this is done. The guide talks about this briefly (in one combo they discuss it, possibly more, but there is one combo specifically it talks about it) but not to the extend of what it does. Thanks for showing this. I think capcom knew to put this on there due to jump cancelling in dmc3. Good stuff man and I hope there is more stuff to find out just like this.

I actually found this out  myself too. You know C.Viper can do it as well. But she doesn't jump. So its technically better. Since she stays on the ground.

Thing is, the scaling and hit stun decay get pretty heavy so using it mid combo is a bit fruitless.

How are you going to "punish "this? He can cancel bold move into any special. All he needs to do is backdash. So what exactly are you talking about? Also Dante has slightly below average health. And also EVERYONE in this game can die in one combo so health..not really a huge issue ya feel me? Why are you judging a FG on online. The worth of a FG is decided in one place. Tournaments. No where else.

still doesn't change the fact that Dante is a average damage dealer with below average health...and nothing more...I hit Dantes online for 50%+ in one combo and then they tag out because they can't deal with it...silly scrubs

@dizzybone2000 Wut makes Dante top tier isn't his damage. He has tools for any thing u throw at him and he's one of the few chars that has advantage on Sentinal. He doesn't lose to any char in the game because there is no situation u can put him in where he doesn't have an answer.

@EmblemLord ok but every Dante I've faced online gets into a big damage combo and tags out..his health is pitiful and in this game where 1 combo could nearly kill you, that is a MAJOR flaw of his...you're also forgetting that most of his moves are punishable by design and 1 mistake is really all it takes to wipe out most of his health...and advantage on Sentinel means nothing..Spider-Man has advantage on Sentinel lol

@c4rwr3ck It's actually quite different. This is canceling bold move into GROUND specials, not just using it to launch yourself to do killer bee or some crap. It's more like a traditional SJC than anything.
