Xheli, I've got mine for 1.5 months or so but i crased it a little time ago got the replacement parts and put them on but its like is going way slower forward an backward then before and i cheked the servo but it looks fine, what to do?
@shiroblack No, fixed pitch heli's can't fly upside down. If you do want to fly upside down you should consider buying a collective pitch helicopter, althou they are more expensive and alot harder to fly so i recommend you'd buy a fixed pitch heli first and learn to fly properly with that one first. Goodluck!
do you think this heli is good for beginners like me who want to level up to intermediate? cause this heli looks cool and i want a single rotor because the co-axials kinda look ugly with another blade on top of the other blade
If I were you I'd take the new Uflys (3-axis gyro). Very stable and much more durable than the CB180D. I've had the CB180D and had a lot of fun with it. If you do want one, I'd take the CB180Z; it's brushless and has a CP tailrotor...
Been into modeling for a long time. The rudder control on helicopters are normally very sensitive. I might replace the shaft motor with the "aft tail boom mounted motor" upgrade. Another youtuber posted his videos and reportedly makes the CB-180D a much better flyer. Another way, more difficult, is replacing the radio equipment with one that has better mixing sensitivity. Note: this could be a system fluke, requiring a return, seek a expert flyer's help from a local hobby for advice.
3255959 Good stuff,Does anyone know if new exceed madhawk 2.4 trans with display binds with this walkera 180 d?..i found a new walkera 180d cheap but its a bind and fly..
hopefully its stronger than the cb100 . i tore mine up 1st day hahah . now im harrasing everyone to help me fix it .. i never fixed a main shaft and stuff . this one i will use the simulator and leave in the box until i fix the cb100 . hopefully i can send it in and have it repaired . this hobby is fun ..
@bigpappageorgio .. Thanks..I finally asked someone that new what they were alking about Rick from Clubheli explained how to adjust gain screw..very simple the screw has a flat spot on top..the adjustment is from 9 Oclock to 3 Oclock ..this screw will turn forever in either direction...Why don't instruction show this? i have asked several people that own this copter and they were clueless on how to adjust gain properly..now i'm waiting on a main gear..
@3255959 See video "Upgraded Tail Motor assemply", kind dumb name for a CB-180D video, but it is indeed the tail motor mod video for the helicopter (if interested). FYI
It is 4ch fixed pitch heli. The heli has two brushed motors. The tail motor actually sits in the main body of the heli and drives the tail rotor through a torque tube.
Will i be able to fly this thing? I've flown some real nub 2Ch heli's, havent flown a coaxial yet, ..
If so, what would u recomend me, this one or the (3ch) Double horse 9104?
Which one is the easiest to fly?
Thx!

Could a helicopter like this take up one of the mini cameras? Or does it need to be bigger or a nitro?

How does this helicopter compare to the MadHawk 300?

When Walkera develops this into collective pitch? They will own the market COLD.
bluehazer 2 years ago
they already hav colective pitch see the creata 400
ROTORNUT007 1 year ago
@ROTORNUT007 Nope. The Creata is Hiller-controlled, not Bell like the CB180 is.
