@KOBEinLA4 Smooth is fast. You'll hear that from a lot of sports coaches... "Be quick but don't hurry". Or something to that effect. If you try too hard and are jerking the wheel instead of turning it smoothly, stomping on the brakes or throttle instead of applying smoothly, it upsets the balance of the car. He was just telling one of the other guys (not me) he was pushing it to hard and not being smooth. Smooth is faster.
I think these are in South Carolina. If you live far away BMW CCA/Audi Car club NA and PCA all have track events with an instructor throughout the country. You can join these car clubs with any make of car as long as you like BMWs, Audi's or Porsche's. Call your local chapter. As for Canada, ???
how can i get into a driving school like this? i know it's probably a dumb question.. but it's not like you guys advertise it, i'd really like to know. i live in New England
When the instructor said get smooth, Dave should have put the car into a power slide just to prove a point.
