She was built in the Aker Finnyards drydock in Turku.

All the worlds largest cruise ships are made in finland!

@donzaliko It's a norwegian cruise liner company that owns this ship, i'm not sure of who that stand behind the counstruction i'm afraid;P But it wasn't cheap atleast building this ship

The 225,000 tonne Oasis of the Seas already in service as from Decemeber 2009 and the Allure of the Seas coming into service in November 2010 are twin sisters of the Genesis class.

Royal Caribbean have 21 vessels all ending with 'of the Seas'.

All three RCCL Freedom Class ships hold the title of largest cruise ship. The Queen Mary 2 is still longer. That all changes when Oasis of the Seas debuts on 12/1/09 weighing in at 220,000 gross tons. She will be the new record holder. I am on the first Oasis cruise on 12/1/09. Can't wait!! Nice video.

Oasis of the sea exists so it is therefore the largest, whether in service or not! They dont actually "launch "ships any more as they are far too big. They float them out of construction docks..get up to date please!
