No other piece of music reminds more of the most beautiful (looking and sounding) person I've ever known, now at 49 years. I once told her that her voice was "the aural equivalent of a caress." I first heard Cantilena during a flight from the Midwest to Phoenix in '99 while I was over New Mexico's Rockies. It's still my favorite guitar piece.

It's eerie that you described the guitar as a storyteller of cherished memories and to recall the blessing of life, for I heard this piece on the radio today in my horse barn and all I could think about was the great memories of my beloved late parents who sacrificed their lives to raise us 11 children.
