im not the biggest alice cooper fan there is but one of my most favorite albums is killer by alice cooper. i like the whole ablum. i bought it when first came out years ago and i still liston to it.
Since i was 8 yrs old I have been facinated with Wyatt herp Doc Holiday, the OK Corral. I must of seen at least 7 differant films about them .This video is kinda of accurate. It depicks the Herps as more criminal then lawman. Damm someday I am gonna take off from Boston and go to TOMBSTONE !!! giddy up giddy upp!!get my spurs and 6 shooter here we go again!!
And no, I honestly can't say that I've ever seen Jim Morison in this song just from hearing it. In fact, I had no idea of THAT until I heard Alice state it in an interview .
Fuck Tombstone ( of all flicks )!! Someone should set THIS song to the movie El Topo!! I even suspect that particular lyric "I wear lace and black leather. My hands are lightning on my gun" was inspired by THAT flick. And, of course, any old Eastwood classic ( Fistfull of Dollars, Hang em High, Good the Bad and the Ugly ) would be really cool with this song too .
@karlmoles65 me too, ive collected all kinds of kiss stuff. ive got stuff that dates from the 70s-- now.. i met ace back in 2000 on the farwell tour, got some autographs and pics.
@Dukesfan1980 Can't say I've met Ace, you're lucky. Though I did see KISS on their first reunion tour and got to be part of a biker brawl in a Denny's afterwards which was rather memorable, lol
@karlmoles65 ace was a nice guy, made a few little funny comments, other than that kinda quiet. but i saw kiss on the reunion tour twice, three times on the farwell tour, because at that point i thaught it was the last kiss tour ever, even for gene and paul.. lol... and then saw them one time on the rock the nation tour in 2004 with eric and tommy, thats the last time ive seen them. but dennys, lol thats wild. only trouble ive ever seen at dennys here is rude old people getting in the way.
@Dukesfan1980 Pretty awesome you've seen em that many times. The band I have seen the most would have to be Rush at 8 times. The one I wish I had seen is Led Zeppelin. I'm not surprised Ace is cool, he's by far my favorite of the four.
@karlmoles65 heres one of my dennys deals. last year we were going to see Rob Zombie and Alice Cooper. we had floor tickets where you could stand anywhere you wanted on the floor we were in a hurry to get the very front, but got hungry, went to dennys, a really old guy passed 4 people at the checkout was mad saying he hated his food, so they were taking forever subtracting discounts, then he paid in change and counted it slowly 2 times held the line up forever lol. but we still got a good spot.
@karlmoles65 it was for sure, but people let him pass because he was old. ok so now what about comic books ? u like them ? i collect silver and bronze age marvel....
@Dukesfan1980 Oh man, now you're talking my language. I have my collection still from when I was a kid, all Marvel, all 60s 70s and 80s. HUGE X-Men fanatic, big fan of Spidey, the Midnight Sons, all of it. What great stuff.
@karlmoles65 cool bro. always nice to hear from other marvel fans. i was born in 1980, started collecting in 86. but then i started seeing old comics from the 60s and 70s and loved them, so i started collecting older comics, and been hooked on them from then on. Spidey, Hulk, Capt America, Avengers, X Men, and so on. but for some reason the DC art never caught my attention, but i do collect Superman and Batman.
@Dukesfan1980 I was 14 in '80. It was a very good year. Good start to a great decade. I'm a fan of all the titles you mentioned. And I am about the same with DC. Have you read any of the old Midnight Sons Marvel books like Ghost Rider or Blade? They were awesome.
@DoctorCatface It's my all time favorite easily. Several others are fantastic, but this one's just special. Killer is by far my fave AC album as well.
i remember now this was dedicated to jim morrison on a live version that i didnt realy care for because it didnt sound like the killer virsion to much the killer one is the coolest. if ya listen to riders on the storm then listen to deaperado he sounds like morrison im a killer and im a clown then the alice copper comes out of him which makes it so cool step in to the street by sundown step in to your last good bye

@karlmoles65 Actually it is. I saw an interview with Alice Cooper he was freinds with Jim Morrson. He ahad adopted the leather pants like so many other rock stars. I rember Alice cooper had noted how shocked he was to see Jim get high . He saide he would take 10 differant kinds of pills swallow them down like candy. Alice cooper was young then and he did say the song DESPERADO is a tribute to his late freinf Jim Morrsion!
So interesting to know that little tidbit! @mar7113 - he still is in a very much older way :) I have been finding out. The last time I checked him over was in 1999, when I found out that Glen Buxton had died a couple of years earlier. I wish I still had a poster to put on my bedroom wall ! But I don't think my husband would be too impressed. Maybe we never really grow up.. xx
@TheClam88 i don't know much about music really., but I'd like to think I know a good lead guitarists when I . hear one :) ! and you can tell he was. Some of the stuff on BDB is awesome:) I thought so when I was 13 and still do now - GB's made his mark and will never be forgotten.
@samsmumable Funny thing is I bet very few parents today would be concerned about their kids listening to Cooper today. Barring his on-stage theatrics, his music seems relatively tame. Still rocks though.
Great song and well fitting video. And if you really like Heep also, you're somewhat like me. Their tour together was a must to see. I saw them in Helsinki.
In 2006 Calico Cooper, daughter of Alice Cooper, starred in the motion picture Puppy which has become a cult classic home and abroad (Europe). We had the honor of creating the theme song for this cult classic. Hope you enjoy this as much as we did making it!
Sorry people, this video has nothing to do with the song....Pretty sure the song came out long before the video shots... Alice along with Uriah Heep were way ahead of thier time.. Killer, Love it to death, welcome to my nightmare, etc....Are and deserve to be Rock N Roll Hall of fame Classics..
@sheldonscottmcc Sorry to you but if you can't add up the imagery with the lyrics you have a mental deficiency. I am getting pretty sick of AC fanboys that can't get over the Morrison angle,
Otherwise totally agreed with the rest of your statement.
This is one of my very favourite Alice Cooper songs....from an amazing album that still holds up today. As for the movie clips...thanks for those...I especially love the final scenes from Young Guns...and Val Kilmer was awesome in Tombstone.
@Jackstraw1000 Killer is by far my fave Alice Cooper album. To me only Love It To Death and maybe Billion Dollar Babies are even near Killer's level.

Hey, great song and a great video to go with the song. Love it. Thanks. I don't care if there is STRETCH in any direction Hahaha. Relax and enjoy. Thanks for the great work and your time spent.
Love the song, love the concept of this video,,,HATE that most clips are the wrong aspect ratio, Can't stand seeing scenes that are S-T-R-E-T-C-H-E-D either horizontally, or vertically.
nice !!! I like it...the visuals work well with the feel of the song... I love when Val is edging the guy on while the guy is walking shooting blindly...
If there was a love button i will press it for sure!!!!!! Karlmole65 a new youtube star forever!!! Subcribe his videos. Whoever did that one dislike he has no taste no affence disliker.
I cant watch this and listen to the song, the songs about jim morrison and i picture something completely different! and ofcourse val kilmer is in it....

Love the song, love the concept of this video,,,HATE that most clips are the wrong aspect ratio, Can't stand seeing scenes that are S-T-R-E-T-C-H-E-D either horizontally, or vertically.
Rogerrumjet 11 months ago
@Rogerrumjet Sorry. James Cameron I ain't. Glad you enjoyed the concept though.
karlmoles65 11 months ago
@Rogerrumjet I am not a tech geek so I am unsure what you mean, sorry.
karlmoles65 10 months ago
@karlmoles65 Watch this video guy...you don't need to be a tech geek to see the problem, you just need a pair of working eyes.
Rogerrumjet 10 months ago
@Rogerrumjet Really? I must be missing it then.
karlmoles65 10 months ago
@Rogerrumjet lol what do you mean by S-T-R-E-C-H-E-D?
mechanicjoe 10 months ago
@Rogerrumjet I think this is a flawless 5 star video so seeing the word HATE is a really a weird thing.
mechanicjoe 10 months ago
Hmmm, must say I do prefer his heavier stuff, tasteful song and good lyrics though.
u24evernalways 11 months ago
@u24evernalways I like some of his heavier stuff too. I'd like to think of a concept for a Halo Of Flies vid.
