Great! Thanks for the tip. I use my pc for a lot of things but I never thought of glazed root veggies as a side dish. I'd add some chunked ham because the glaze would compliment this dish as well as provide my tummy with meaty goodness.
Sorry, I'm not a veggie-a-tarian...but I love them all raw, cooked or juiced. Pressure cooking them provides another method of nutrient retention when raw isn't convenient.
Margarine is closer to plastic goop than than it is to butter. I never use margarine. Butter is the way to go.
The veggies look great and I will try them as soon as my pressure cooker arrives (oh boy, my new toy). I think I will use Mrs Dash. I like that blend.
Oh, I also think that the strangest and really messed up people are the one's who hate veggies. Eat a veg you may nourish a brain cell.
Just tried this, used paprika and garlic powder for the "herbs and spices", and butter instead of marg, cause that's what I had.
Very nice! So darn quick. Anything that makes turnips palatable is a good thing, since they're cheap and nutritious. They just taste like ugh, usually.

The chef adds quite a hefty amount of "herbs and spices". What is that stuff, exactly? It's not listed on the recipe page.

Could we just use butter instead?
