Omaha Storm 6/27/08 Part 2

i was mowing the hill of the regan dealership.... at the top of the hill and siren goes off. it was pretty scarry.

I was stuck in a car on West Broadway. I thought the windshield was gunna give if the rising flood waters didnt wisk us away first. We made it inside Jenny Ed parking lot, by the time it was almost over. It happened so fast!

Definitely not the usual for Omaha in respect to how widespread it was and how severe it was. You get the occasional one that grazes parts of the city, but this one pretty much affected most of it.

Storms like this are not unique to Nebraska, in fact they get much worse than this in other parts of the Midwest.

i was running through the target parking lot on L street. it was like being in a hurricane.

im in w.omaha old mill i live at old mill aprtments all of our ac units on top got blown the flip over lots of dead birds..sucked alot.

That's how our back deck looked too. We're in nw Omaha. The wind was crazy
