  • awesome earing, i'm gonna make a similar one

  • you're disgustingly talented i tried this at least 60 times and all i managed to achieve is spilling my blood.. i can't even do the first step of making 1mm slices, mine are between 3 and 5 which is of course unesy to bend. but i am not giving it up as long as i have still have a useful amount of fingers on each hand

  • The vice does not have a name as it is a 'one off' conception so sorry to say there is not a measured drawing,

    Regards,

    stuart king

  • what is the name of that vice..id like to find plans and build one for myself...fantastic vid..

  • @squidskunk ...i found the vise...its a shaving horse...very easy to construct... :-)

  • this is seriously fantastic

  • I'd like to get back into carving. When I was twelve I carved a row boat with a tackle box and ores, and a pick up truck with wheels. I was surprised with the way they both came out.

  • Nice work, very creative.

    Congratulations!

  • I like his wooden earring. How is it called? Anything? Thanks.

  • awesome!!!

  • Very good work

  • Incredible vice, I love how EVERYTHING is made of wood. The one thing I'm wondering about is how he makes the feathers fan out. Why don't they break off the main piece?

  • @Finnurg ----- The wood is either green or sometimes boiled and worked 'damp', in this condition the material is quite pliable to 'rive' and to bend and on drying will set in its new position,

    good luck,

I knew you filmed me but it is a bit strange coming across yourself on you tube. It is a great video, thanks for posting it.
