Its Censorship, often political. No Warning, no limit, no way. You Tube or the Pay Pal Mafia is just trying to intimidate users into submission. Video Favorites take up very little space on their servers, like pictures verse movies. So again it just a way to Censor Speech. It malicious on their (you tube) part. Its a private company and they are only exercising the wishes of their investors, who don't want "you" to participate. If you know of a technical fix tell me on my comments page or post.

I currently have 2572 favourited vids on youtube; however, my account was originally registered as a musicians/artists account, so that might influence it.

Strangely, I've run into an entirely different problem - in that when scrolling down the favourites list on my channel, at a certain point the same 11 videos are repeated endlessly until the bottom.

Obviously YouTube doesn't like that I've exceeded their otherwise imposed limit.

when i had 650, every day some videos were removed (most being copyrighted crap). Being the weird person i was back a (oh i dunno 7 - 8 months) I watched all the videos i wanted on separate tabs at the same time and just madly favorite every thing.

Idk if that is really a solution, being now i can only fave two new vids at a time :( *facepalm*

Earlier you registred, more fav you can add.

But it's possible even now to go over the limit but only for one session. Once you logout, you will lose all you fav over 650 and face the limit again. It's kinda glitch, but it's mostly useless.

Therefore, use playlists.

it is possible to add as many as you want, as long you are online keep favoriting. Soon if log out, or take a long pause you must remove everything till 649

its most likely because you were a director before the rule changes. now you need over a certain amount of views/subscribers to become a director/guru etc etc. if you have a account like your you can make longer videos and you generally have less limitations.

To be honest i now save/record any video i want instead of using favourites.

Reason being...

1) In case youtube remove the video for BS reasons...(censorship)

2) No limit

i think youtube fix the glitch, But what i did to get 750 favorites on my other account was only get 649 favorites. Then with out stoping favorite every thing in the related playlist. dont go to any channels or it could reconize how many favorites you have then blocl it.
