That was my fourth and last time at Dover in May of 2006. Call Monster Racing, Dover DE and schedule 10 laps. I would recommend taking a ride a long with an instructor to see what it feels like. The tires do stick in the corners and when you later try it yourself, remember to follow the line of the instructor car.
I moved on to Lowes, Atlanta and my favorite track, Talladega, with programs that has no pace car but the instructor is riding with you. It is fun.
It was awesome and those 10 laps go fast. I do not know where you live, but at the local NASCAR track, there is always a racing school you could attend. The priority is not speed, but safety. This was my fourth time back at Dover, and knew the track. Good luck.
