does this even work, i have got xdsl to run but can not update anything works good when on the internet and listening to some music, got only doom to work but need a keyboard or some how set up my controller to run as the gamepad, runs good i think gentoo should run better since its a much larger operation system.
you don't need a dvd burner. what r your pc specs? do you have aim or any messengers hit me up gator2k83 on pretty much anything msn yahoo aim google facebook myspace
That was a long time ago... I still have the box and it runs great. It was a softmod and i think that was the problem. It was just something to play with. I pretty much just use it for and XBMC box nowadays. Would be nice to have a good html browser with flash 10 support though for HULU.
Playon is ok for the 360 but it requires a pc and the 360.. We just need Microsoft to put out a good browser for the 360 or allow 360 XBMC.
ok, easy solve this one, once the XROMWELL xdsl bios loads, disconnect everything from the controller ports. then plug the controller(s) and dvd dongle (if u have one) and select from the options on the bottom of the screen. still not working? send me a private message.
Yes you can put unleashedx on an xbox with gentoox. That's how you boot cromwell. You can either install a modchip or flash the TSOP with a cromwell bios or you can install unleashedx (or any other dashboard) and boot an xbe cromwell that boots linux. By the way you can't have more than one hard drive active at one time in an xbox the motherboards firmware won't support it

Gonna try setting this up I have all the needed things like the patch and games and such but I dont know if I can find a DVD burner

try just booting it from a cd or dvd. download x-dsl, extract the files burn it as an image. pop it into your xbox, and it could run like that.

get a modchip and flash cromwell to one of the banks and boot your linux distro
also get the x3 bios with a dash of you choice to run apps.
