  • It looked like that bull had u guys pinned!! I thought he was going to bust out especially with u guys talking!! He was ruttin pretty hard!! Well u got the job done anyhow! Good job!! Great bull!!

  • Wyoming,Colorado,Arizona, anyone ever hunted unit there where you pass a 360 bull up everyday. I know that's the places we do

  • Nice bull and obviously you were in an area where big bulls are available to consider passing.most hunters would not have questioned shooting that bull. I know the area I hunt which is a general tag I have passed 360 bulls trying for the bigger bull.

  • This vid is truly something else. Great shooting!

  • You can't eat the horns! If it's big enough to be legal shoot him.

  • What a joke of a hunter. It's an elk. Shoot, and stop being a retard. You don't even deserve to hunt.

  • Awesome vid!!! That got my blood and adrenaline pumping! i love elk hunting, it is my passion! Im going this weekend and i hope i have as much success as you two did! what did the big boy end up scoring?

  • "360 isn't big enough"... shit what planet are you from, glad you decided to shoot.

  • THAT HAS TO BE AN OCTOBER BULL IN MONTANA...

  • Nice video, fellas. Done really well......

  • Did you guys get it?

  • that hunter didnt deserve that elk

  • To the archery morons. I have nothing against archery, muzzleloader or rifle, but this years elk was shot with an 06 at 10 yards. While field dressing him i cut my finger on a broadhead that was snapped off and scarred over in his shoulder. His shoulder was atrophied so bad it was no bigger than a mule deer hind quarter. He suffered for a long while waiting for a rifle hunter like me to end the pain. I plan to hunt with a bow and muzzleloader before I die. All I can say is practice more

  • @opigonbad one bad thing with muzzleloaders that is common is droppin to soon i always did it when i first started. best to hold for least 10 seconds after the pan ignites.

  • that is one dumb bull. practically retarded. Must be in a REALLY limited area.

  • dude i love when elks bugal

  • If not an Elk..than what is it you retard....? Geezzz...Some people should keep their comments to their own self....Brutal.. TheDodaa1 you are stupid..plain and simple...

  • how is it not an elk

  • @TheDodaa1 its an elk

  • @TheDodaa1 ya it was a cow?? your an idiot

  • Comment removed

  • @TheDodaa1 calling me an idiot won't make you smart...

  • @TheDodaa1 haha not you im talking about the dude who called it a cow.. hes obviously retarded

  • @BorderLineCalls haha okay,sorry then :D

  • As soon as the bull turned once it seemed obvious he was an excellent trophy bull. Nice vid and great hunting getting him in close. Nice job guys!! Thanks for posting!!

  • Nice video boys. Don't listen to the arrogant bow hunters, and tree huggers here. People like this are just around to point out flaws in others so their own flaws aren't as obvious. Killing an animal like that is not just about killing something for fun and people that don't get it won't ever get it. Keep those videos coming!

  • What's with the criticism. There's nothing wrong with legally hunting according to the area or regional rules. Rifle or bow. I've enjoyed success with both. And yes, I don't care who you talk too. 360+ is big. These bulls are big and sometimes the body can dwarf the rack. I passed on a bull this year that scored 375gross. . His body was huge. I guessed him at 340 max. A buddy shot him a week later-bow. All good. Still confused. LOL ***Let's stick together as hunters***

  • The author of this video will die in very very big pains.. I hope..

  • Don't waste your time with comments like this. Go educate yourself on what hunters do for wildlife. I promise that every hunter I know does 10x more than you and most tree huggers do to help conserve their habitat. I hope you realize this someday!

  • Nothing wrong with hunting with a rifle. That was a beauty bull I don't know how you could even consider passing him up.

  • If you need a rifle to hunt elk in the rut i fell sorry for you just shows what kind of hunter you are and your not

  • I am pretty sure that most rifles can outshoot you and your bow you pretentious tool.

  • I don't get why some of you bow hunters knock fellow hunters for the tools they choose. I guess that shows what kind of hunter you are or not. I have heard bow hunters kicking other bow hunters with "you should use a recurve" or "you should use a log bow". Who cares? I use a muzzle loader, sometimes a rifle. Love the bow, too. My choice doesn't make me better or worse then you. It's tough enough with the anti-hunters around. We really should stick together.

  • The only place I can think of where you would even consider passing up a 360+ inch bull is unit 9 in Arizona during a rut hunt. Where did this hunt take place? That was a magnificent bull and those big bulls don't usually come that easy.

  • This Guy is a Ass Try Archery Dude much better Anyone can kill a Elk with a Rifle I have with a 7mm Mag I prefer Archery!

  • that wasnt even wide 360 is small

  • Nice bull 360" is a big bull! Good job with pressuring the hunter to shot, he would have regretted his choise if you dident help him out, awsome job man!

  • poor

  • There is no way

    biz66678 is from Banff

  • That is so untrue terriegal. Where I am from ( a town in AB ) There are so many in-town elk. We have grouped them from the areas. The Golf Course herd, the bottom of Rundle herd...etc etc When I was younger we use to have to scare them off our lawn just to get into the truck to go to school, and it's still the same way. And all kinds of elk even the big ones. I live in a National Park, but there are many town that have many in-town elk.

  • aww dont kill it

  • Great video. I love this hunt, though I've never hunted elk yet. Are they near sighted or are you in good cover? How many yards was that shot?

  • Jesus he almost knocked down that tree at 3:15/3:22 Gotta love adrenaline.

  • i saw one like that in washington

  • Great job guys. Awesome video.

  • "i could shoot it right between the eyes" haha now thats confidence

  • you haven't got a clue about what you are on about kid.

    Dont get ahead of yourself

  • Huh?

  • take him!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

  • That was a awfully loud sounding bow! People. LOL.

Muzzle load if the seasons in Saskatchewan are similar to the states. September during the rut. Elk are dumb during the rut. They want pussy. Do you have to wear orange there?

  • This was not in Saskatchewan..It was in the States...Ya..This bull came in hard to the cow call...

  • I was going by the tags in "about this video".

Who cares where this was hunted! Did RMNP open up for select hunters to cull the pop. there? They were/are supposed to. I do hunt unit 20 but that's with the bow.Looked a little better than 360?

  • I think this was false as abrian said. I am from a town that has tons of WILD elk and they don't get this big. I grew up with elk in my yard everyday.

  • yeah, the big ones aren't dumb enough to come to town for bird seed out of your feeders.

  • uhh... i dont no what to say except for quit talking so much and next time make up your mind faster because that was an exceptional bull you were extremely lucky he hung around for that long

  • Took you long enough to shoot the damn thing!

  • I dont care what you say, that has to be a farmed elk. Wild elk dont get big by being stupid, and this one stood there for 2 minutes while you guys were flapping your gums about shooting him or not. A wild bull would have been out of there. Nice try though

  • sorry... it was a wild elk...I don't care what YOU say..as you were not there and I was...Limited entry area...So stop flapping your gums..!!!!!

  • You either have not hunted elk during the rut or hunted them at all. Yes you can get that close to a trophy elk and have him stand there for a long time. During the rut I have seen bulls shot with a bow or gun then a few cow calls made and he will stop and look for the cow. This helps keep the track down to a minimum. Rut is the best time to hunt for big elk because they are the first to mate and they are bugling like no tomorrow.

  • i want to see the final animal

  • notbig enough...that elk could feed you for a long time..good choice to shoot it

  • i noticed you guys were deciding on shooting this elk because you thought it was a 360 class bull. did you end up scoring this bull and if so what class was it?

  • i dont really like bowhunting.but good for u guys using bows its quite hard.thats a big bull.

  • bow hunting is the best do it all the time

  • Don't you just love that sound. But why don't you step it up a litlte and start bowhunting?
