  • oh, i'm so jealous of you two! i'd give anything for a friesian or friesian cross. you have such a nice quiet seat.

  • Ah I just noticed that yours is a TBxFriesian just like mine, Daunte is lovely, mine is called Merlyn's Will, will try to send you photo if you have an address that takes jpegs. Anne x

  • You dont look very rusty to me you look like a partnershiip made in heaven, my Friesian looks a little more like yours, he has less feathering than most, but mine was sired by a champion Friesian stallion and his mum is a TB mare so he is not full blooded but has all the colouring, conformation and general characteristics of his dad, he thinks he is human because he was born at home and is now 5 and a half [2010] y.o.. you look great together.

  • he bowed down and you climbed right on, nice trick

btw, he's one of the most beautiful black stallions i have eva seen

  • WOW! is he available as a stud? i have a warmblood mare i want to breed soon

  • Hes is stunning. I just bought a Friesian X TB too. Little filly. Cannot wait to see her all grown up :-)

  • Beautiful horse and so calm! Great bond! & who needs a mounting block!

  • oh my gosh, he's absolutely beautiful.

Very lucky to own such an animal.

  • you r a good rider and such a beautiful horse and how did u teach him tha trick so u could get on?

  • look at my other vids...i actually made a how to vid for a friend, but i'm not a trainer so it's at your own risk.

  • Super cute horse and great riding!

  • could you send me a message teaching me how to teach my horse to bow? I really want to learn!

  • I have a bowing video I made for one of my friends...I'm not a trick horse trainer tho, so take it for what it's worth.

  • how do you get your horses to go down like that-to let you mount...

ive seen it soooo many times

if someone would be kind and explain....

    thank you!

  • @_@!!!! WOW! You guys are amazing together! I wish I could have a bond like that with a horse, or just a horse, lol. Keep up the fantastic work, you are such an amazing team.

  • thank u, I appreciate your comments

  • Thanks for Sharing. I've just taught my Friesian standard cross to lie down. I just love the Friesians and the crosses. Keep up the good work

  • thnx...FriesXs are the best.

  • For about 4 yrs now. thx

  • I agree excellent riding. Love the humor in the beginning. If you can't laugh at yourself what can you do. Nice job!

  • You have a great bareback position. I tend to get tense in my upper legs and then my hands. I wish I could be as a calm as you!

  • Probably 50% of my time on a horse was riding bareback...lessons didn't help me get over my balance fear, it was just riding bareback enough until it becomes 2nd nature. Just time on the horse. Plus, I know this horse very well and vise versa so he's easy to sit to me.

  • you both r AMAZING!! xspecially for a 5 YEAR OLD STALLION!! lol my horse is crazy like a stud but he was cut when he was 4 ...kinda kate hes 11 now! lol adorable!!!:)

  • hes a stallion!!! omg hes really nice what a lovely stallion and you can tell hes looked after because he has great respect for you!!!

  • I can now confirm he's truly a stallion b/c I collected semen from him for the first time last week....It's kinda scary, but cool. It didn't change his attitude either. Daunte and I now have an even closer bond...haha

  • Stallion? I have seen GELDINGS that have been through training and still aren't even close to how calm your horse is. Great job, he is gorgeous!!! : )

  • he is so gorgeous- and obviously has a great mind! what a well behaved stallion!!

  • Prima... muss ich meiner Süssen auch beibringen....

  • Thanks, not sure what the last part means.

  • it means, that I want to train my horse like yours...

  • wow thats amazing how you got him to bow down, how did you teach him that, id like to teach my horse!!

  • First, your horse has to completely trust you... then it's all about pressure, release, and reward. You can hold your horses hoof up w/ your hand or a lead rope (please be careful w/ the rope, if used too harshly it can cause rope burn) I would recommend using your hand and then pushing on it's chest until it slowly backs down. It takes a while for it to click but if you take baby steps and reward you horse w/ the right reaction you keep it fun.

  • Most importantly !!!! Go slow and be PATIENT. If your horse doesn't get it DO NOT punish it. They won't go down if they r scared. Also, be careful, they might lose their balance and fall on you. You kinda have to slowly work their muscles up to flexing like that. Good luck and be safe!

  • Thank you!!

  • LOVELY!!!!! :D Beautiful!

  • Ahhh yes school, it is fun. Well congrats on the beautiful horse he's so well behaved, I have a 23yr old fresian quarter horse and he is a wild boy! He should take some lessons from your horse!

  • My 20 yr old Palomino QH acts like he's still three. They all have their own personalities.

  • You have that fabulous horse and you don't ride him much? Are you CRAZY?

  • two words.... vet school. Don't worry he's still spoiled :)
