I remember Prisoner of Azkaban was the second Harry Potter book I read. Know why? Cuz even in 2002, at the very. first. sequel. Harry Potter was selling out. You couldn't find Chamber of Secrets when I was first looking for it. That's one of the many things that makes Chamber of Secrets my favorite. It was the only one I really had to wait for, and the first re-read of Azkaban while I was waiting for Goblet of Fire was a real trip.

This is a long movie, but it doesn't get boring at all. I have to admit that some parts of Lord of the Rings films do drag a bit, but this film didn't. I was very into plot to mind the length. I rate this better than the first, but not than the third.

I really loved this movie, even though it shocked me how the actors voices dramatically changed in less than a year!!! lol But it was still good :D What's funny is, when I saw this movie in theaters with my mom when I was 11, my mom was practically gripping my arm whenever the basilisk appeared on the screen and I was like, "mom it was much scarier in my imagination." She and I had a good laugh after the movie :)

Great movie, the first was a good introduction then things keep getting better and better with each installment. This franchise is a nice cross between Star Wars, LOTR, Wizard of Oz and the fantasy flicks of the 80's i grew up with. The Basilik was totally awesome in this movie and Dobby was hilarious.
