  • I'm still looking for the full song. Would love to hear it and possibly download it. Beautiful voice Terra. Love you!

  • terra, I want this song. It used to be on your myspace page and I had it on my voiceail for awhile. I like it. now I've been looking around for like long long time and can't find it

  • I really like this, I really do. Your style and theirs goes together quite well.

And to any negative comments on here, please try to wrap your tiny brain around the fact that there are actually sincere people on this planet. Yes, I KNOW! That's craaazy!

  • Can anybody say to me WHEN Bataka squad's gonna do an album?

  • incredibly brave taking on serious issues instead of shaking her t&a.

  • From the bits I hear, the structure of the song seems a bit obvious for hip-hop, but Terra Naomi's gifted chorus adds an otherwordly quality to it. The Bataka Squad should consider themselves lucky to have gotten her now before she blows up.

  • cool!

  • very nice song

  • I really want this song when it comes out! Please, please, please let us know when it's available! I honestly can't stand the people who post negative comments on here. I don't see the point of it. They can shove it and go elsewhere.

  • HAHAHAHAHAAAA "It's just the real deal. IT'S THE REAL SHIT" LMAO. There's nothing real about it, but I will agree that it's shit. Then she's singing in Ugandan - a language she doesn't even know. Hahahaha. They probably have her singing stuff like "I love black dick. Fuck me in the ass" and tell her it says something else. They're probably goofing on her lol.

  • uR a fucking prick

  • please tell me that you have 12 years old PLEASE

    im serious

  • I showed this video to a couple of my friends and we all had a good time laughing at it and making fun of it. Spoiled liberal white girl trying to do "hip hop" with wannabe American thug rappers with Ugandan accents! This is a recipe for a comedy skit if ever I've seen one. So funny. I swear this has to be a joke I'm waiting for Dave Chappelle to pop into the scene. Sorry for not taking this video seriously, but I just can't, it's too comical.

  • this is so beautiful!

  • omg, that song is awsome.

  • cuture+music=world peace! I love it.

  • great!

  • Im going to do something ive never done. im going to buy a cd instead of downloading it. If it supports these guys its worth it!

  • I'm now a fan of The Bataka Squad.

  • I saw Bataka squad on Youtube, then saw Terra Naomi, and now...I want to cry. As a proud Ugandan, I have to say that I truly look up to both the squad and Terra now, and I'm glad that they're bringing attention to the talent and beauty of our country.

    Thank you.

  • Great song.

  • Impressive.

  • JEEEJ, finally found it, awesome song !! Bummer that it's not on myspace anymore!

  • fantastic and refreshing

  • Terra it sounds great! How long did you practice???

  • I was skeptical since this is such a different typr of music, but impressed anyway. Get some musicians togeather and magic happens

  • Wow, what a fantastic project! I'm going out to MySpace now to check out the track. I got goosebumps listening to you guys sing together.

  • Loving Your Work.. Keep It Up

  • Awesome work again! I just can't wait to see where your'e career is going to take you. Good luck Terra!

  • :) :)

  • Nuff Respect Rude Girl !!!! Stephen in Tampa/Cleveland let me know when you will be @ Wilberts.

  • "Kids look up to musicians."

    LOL.

  • umm... "recreant456" are you laughing because you don't agree that "kids look up to musicians?" cause i would have to back her up and say that they, a vast percentage "DO"

  • lmao - terra's doing rap :D

  • Does this mean we might get to see you in a thong if you do a Rap Video???

  • Terra, this is so cool! Way to go. You sound beautiful and I am impressed that you have chosen to help out in this way. I can't wait to hear the final version. Will you post it to your myspace page?

  • Seems as though we are only talking between each other so what does it matter? That lady is most likely out getting a buzz off what money she has earned off the one CD she sold to me and other idiots like me. Refund not wanted it is a good CD I like it but just don't like what's coming up. Terra my dear young lady, get back on track. Like she will even take the time to read this.

  • Actually, Terra just did two shows in london, and really is busy.

I believe she's said before that she reads all comments, though. :)

I commented when this was first posted, but I figured I'd mention that I still find it massively amazing.

    Good work, Terra. :)

  • I feel sorry for you Life is full of change and great experiences You will go through your life and experience nothing you are an extremly boring individual entitled to his opinion but your an angry boring indivual so sad

  • Great song you sing in here!

I really respect what you're trying to tell with this.. go on!

  • That song is catchy. It sounds so smooth and peaceful. I love it!!!

  • I loved your vocals on this track; very awesome! Thank you so much for sharing! :-)

  • Terra, this is super cool to see/hear you do. It's different and it seems like they are trying to get out an important message out for awareness for some things going on in Uganda. I have worked with hip hop and it was more the cliche, the songs sounded great but they were just telling fun stories which is why I went on to record on my own, but this is important and even more special cause your voice is on it.:)

  • Yeah, technical difficulties. Can't your production crew get their act together and compress your videos so they RUN! This is annoying as hell in a music piece.

  • I´m not into that kind of music, but i respect it. Sometimes it´s good to explore other stuff, and you both make it sound nice.

  • it's not even rap... it makes me sad to see people that are so stupid and not able to think beyond their nose... (lol sorry for that, i'm french, i'm quite sure this doesn't make sense in english xD)

  • Ooh, I like! Not usually my preferred music but it has a good message from the sounds of it and the short bit I heard sounded real good!

  • I dig it

  • Terra(portuguese) = Earth(english).

Nice to see you givin' wings to your nick.. ;)

  • I don't personally care for hip hop, but this is a great message. And good for you for branching out as an artist, though I probably wouldn't buy an album with only this sound. God bless.

  • I bet a lot of the hip hop artist don't even like the crap. They know it sells so they crank it out. Like a lot of drug pushers, they don't care for the product but it brings in money. She will find her niche. I thought she had already found it but maybe CD sales are not what she expected.

  • Wow you guys are stupid, your probably thinking its just any rap song or w/e but you guys don't even know the lyrics. Neither do I but I'm sure you all don't know it either but dont make fun of a song If you dont understand it.

  • Rap is crap is the truest rhyme I have ever heard or read. The kind of people that like the sort of music you have been doing and is on the CD I bought Don't like that crap. You want to continue being popular and selling CDs, you need to get away from that stuff. You going to turn out to be yet another youtube fake? I see crack ho's walk up and down my street every night don't need to go on youtube to see em. They sell CDs too, ones they steal out of cars and folks houses.

  • Terra, I love seeing you do something of such great value with your gift. You ROCK, Sister! Hugs!

  • Thumbs down....sorry but that is horrible.

  • Come on Terra you better be just a guest and not apart of there band...

  • nice song... and keep the Virtuality coming...

  • word!!

  • no more hip hop or rap, please

  • A fascinating glimpse behind the scenes of music production, with a twist: social responsibility. You didn't invent that, of course, but I'm very pleased that it's such a large part of your musical ambition. And cross-overs can produce the most amazing results. Looking forward to hearing the track!

  • Iam not to big of hip hop fan, but nice that your exposing some social ills.

  • amazing

  • Great Work! Go On!!

  • Hey Terranaomi,

I'm seeing many new sides of you that I didn't know existed. I think that it is great that you're travelling to Africa and engaging more in social awareness since that is one of the main reasons I like all of your music in the first place. Go! Be well and keep churning out classical music on the World Stage Level.

    "cat"

  • "Cultural communities" --> What is that supposed to mean? All communities have some sort of culture...

  • nice!! ya rock... good luck on learning that new language.. XD

  • I personally HATE popular hiphop. but this video showed me not all hiphop sucks. I like this style. Thanks Terra for showing us.

And the kid comment on how we (as in I'm a kid) listen to music and stick to what it says, as in your songs! and many others. Many different meanings in many different types of songs and your hiphop may also teach me something greatly new.

  • Yeah, I had my doubts at first too, but then watched the vid, and it seems like some good things are happening with this style and the way they are presenting it.

  • That was great! Thanks, Tera/Bataka/Bret Mazurek

  • lol, ugandese (if thats how you call uganda's language) sounds like gibberish spoken in spanish xD

  • Beautiful language

    Beautiful music

    Beautiful cause and culture

    MaryFC

  • awesome.

  • girl girl girl.... still amazing me!

    hehehe

you have GOT to come to Brazil!!!!

  • I agree that music is a universal language. It has the ability to communicate with the soul whether one completely understands the words or not. Props to all who were involved producing this latest episode.

  • I love it XD

  • That's really cool for so many reasons. Terra has such a beautiful voice. One of the best, in my opinion.

  • That was fantastic, Terra. I love it, as always. I'm off to myspace to listen to the song, it's in my head already! And hey, don't overwork yourself with all the stuff you're doing.

    Much love. :)

  • Nice, I love it.

  • Singing in Ugandan: supercool. And you are definitely right about the ability of music to change peoples' perspectives politically. It brought to mind the music of Peter Gabriel, whose songs Biko and Wallflower from the second and third albums made a significant impact on the way my thinking develop about the political world. Still timely, given the essentially pro-torture bill Bush just signed...

  • Terram¡, i love your music love the serie

    interesting song

    XD

  • that song sounds really interesting :D

  • I love it, and i love the series, keep it coming :)

  • Terra, you must come to Mexico you will be a super star here, you will have million of fans. You do not have to sing in Spanish, we will adore your music!!!

  • p.s. your voices work very well toghether. i'd love to hear more of this.

  • hey terra! i luv that new tune... i think it's awesome! and the language is qull too! 5stars to you;]

    ~sredniok~

  • you've done it again, terra. i love wtaching these, thanks for taking the time to post them.

  • Give me his t-shirt!

    Terra: good going! :)

  • When i first heard hip hop track, i thought oh no, but after watching it was much much better than i expected :), nice one, "what was the question?"

  • Terra totally love the whole concept behind this idea

  • wow, this is great, it sounds cool, most really be hard to learn the language. and this video looks professional, good work, and i've got already this song stuck in my head
