  • Best version. Never quite feel entirely comfortable with the female backing. Mitchell is absolutely outstanding !!

  • @abobjob Much better version....apparently when Kent were putting the Just Keep On Dancing CD together this was the version that was sourced - unreleased on vinyl unfortunately! Thanks for visiting - glad you enjoyed it:)

  • I like this version but i'm so used to hearing the string and female backing tracks. Plus Mitchell Bullock's ad-libs and phrasing were better on the other one in my opinion. I know I'm out-voted here but I must give the nod to the other version.

Other than that great post because I didn't know an alternate version existed. Who knows what other interesting goodies Chess Records held back from us.

  • @soln4suhreborn Can't fault Mr Bullock on either version I reckon - still trying to find the source of this version!! I agree, I bet there are some gems in those Chess vaults...thanks for visiting:)

  • this version is one of the best recordings of all time.

  • @usjones67 got to agree - glad you liked it!

  • Good Share x

  • I prefer this one, the other feels a bit over-produced.

  • @brodftw Yep, I know what you mean - this is way better! Thanks for visiting :)

  • @ih8tbush

Beats the better-known one by a mile...but sorry, no idea on the lyrics!
