  • u know wat will find out the answer on the day of ressuruction ok so ppl chill and keep your religion in peace as hard as u can

  • Unfortunately, it will be too late then for so many people who will then discover that they have missed the salvation that is only found in Christ. For the followers of Jesus, you see, this isn't at all about trying to be right. It is about rescuing sinners from destruction.

  • Let me just ask a couple straightforward questions. First, do you deny that the Bible is the word of God? Second, what does "have no basis" mean? You've said that neither the Bible, nor Christians, nor Jews have any "basis." I don't know what you are talking about? Basis for what?

  • do some research. they not saying the scrolls are false, they are saying through translations, people keep adding, and adding, and change words to fit there understanding. and so on so on. thats why there are so many dominations. some believe in baptism, some beleive in repentence. some beleive that when u fall from grace u were never saved. when others say no once saved, always saved. so no the original scrolls havent been changed, only interpretations. Paul gave his own understanding.

  • I love it when people say something like "do some research" and then follow it up with a comment that betrays the fact that they haven't actually done any real research of their own. Please demonstrate for us the relationship between Biblical textual transmission/variants and the rise of denominations. Or for that matter, please give us examples of additions and changes to the Biblical text that have influenced significant theological developments among various Christians groups.

  • the beginning of Islam is found in the Bible with Ismael and Issac.

Islam and Israel share the same father, Abraham

  • Show us documentation of this. All documentation of Islam traces back the 7th Century.

  • Islam began with Muhammad not Ismael.

  • Being muslim is when one submits himself to Allah...

For instance, a tree is a muslim. Why? because it completes its obligations it was created for. A tree gives us oxygen, takes up CO2, gives vegetation and so on...this was it's purpose in life. How about humans, we are a complex being. Considering the fact that we have a brain which can carry out tasks far advanced than other living creatures, we also have more obligations as humans. Now with that said...

  • As a born again follower of God, i've been reading the Bible (obviously) but also the Qur'an. So many gospels were removed from the bible it makes it incomplete. I personally regard any holy text whether Christian or Islam as the word of God/Allah. Peace to all and much love.

  • I want to say this respectfully (imagine respecful tone): why is what you "personally regard" as a holy text relevant? A holy text isn't divine in orgin because it wins a popularity contest, right? There must be evidence to support its claim. On the gospel issue that you raise, could you name one gospel of the "so many" that were "removed from the bible" -- just one? And then please tell us when it was "removed"?

If you don't love the truth, you can't know it.

    Shalom.

  • Really? What gospels? Could you name some, I'd be interested. And when were they removed, and by whom?

  • the "Gospel of Thomas" was not put in the Bible because of verses that are against what the Bible teaches like :

"Make Mary leave us, for females don't deserve life."Jesus said, "Look, I will guide her to make her male, so that she too may become a living spirit resembling you males. For every woman who will make herself male will enter the kingdom of heaven."

I thinks that this "Gospel of Thomas" is not really a gospel because every true Gospel must be in consensus with the known Gospels.

  • we need to know this. we are there mission field

  • THANK YOU SAM! we need this. I pray blessings on your ministry...

  • LoL. This is too funny.

As all Muslims know, Christianity erred with their popes and councils changing sound early Christian doctrine and attributing divinity to Jesus.

Not for a second did we, do we, or will we as proud Muslims ever accept that Jesus was divine or the son of God, and don't fool yourself pastor and your flock by disseminating shallow Koranic junctions which you don't understand as testament to your own faith.

Your are NOT an unbias observer by any means.

    Peace!

  • "changing sound early Christian doctrine and attributing divinity to Jesus."

    Can you demonstrate that?

Because we have writings of early church fathers which are pre-Nicean, and pre-edict of Milan, when Christians were being killed by Romans for saying Jesus is God and professing his divinity.

Did you know that no scholars say what you just said there? Did you know that early pre-Nicean church fathers quoted the scriptures where it speaks of Jesus' divinity?

  • Popes & councils were all humans, who can make mistakes.

If Koran makes mistakes, then it is a proof that it is only word of man, and not God's word as claimed by Muslims, as God can't make mistakes.

  • Al147316

in the original text, its never said that God gave his only begotten son which is Isa...(Jesus)...now step back and understand because i know ur heart is difficult to believe...but God is the only way and that be Allah. None higher than him and Jesus (PBUH) is just a messenger...he died in flesh ONLY! Find yourself and realize...may Allah bless you...

    Salaam!

  • But here is a challenge sir: In Al Qur'an Al Anbiyaa 21:91 it says, if I may quote, and please I do this with utmost respect in English (which is not therefore the "Qur'an"): "And (remember) her who guarded her chastity: We breathed into her from Our Spirit, and We made her and her son a Sign for all peoples". Compare this with the Gospel of Luke 1:35 "...The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you...[Mary]". How similar are they honestly?

  • How come you don't respect the fact that the Bible was not written in English and the english translation is therefore not the Bible?

  • There is available an immense mountain of manuscript evidence (including more than 5000 in the original Greek for the New Testament) that enables us to translate not only into English but into any other language with extremely high degrees of accuracy. However, at the at of the day, the best Biblical scholars do rely on Greek and Hebrew. Sam is no exception. Is there a specific Bible verse that you think Sam wrongly translated from Greek or Hebrew?

  • Do you have the original manuscript of quran? do you have historical data about the date it was written?

  • Therefore, if Jesus had no father, but God created him, not through physical union with Mary, but remember what the verses quoted say, it leads to this conclusion: "...So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God." (Gospel of Luke 1:35b). There is agreement between Islam and Christianity that Jesus was born through the power of the Spirit of God, Qur'an and Christian texts say essentially the same thing as quoted. Christianity says "therefore" he is the Son of God. Islam denys.

  • Of course there is a difference in what the Bible and Qur'an teach about the conception of the Lord Jesus. The Bible denies any idea of a physical union with Mary. The Qur'anic language is unclear at best. More to the point, however, is that you hold that the conception was the "creation" of Jesus. The Bible's teaching is contrary to this. It teaches truthfully that only the human nature of the Lord Jesus was created at the conception. His divine nature is eternal, because He is God.

  • good answer! i will remember that explanation. only the human nature was created.

  • Muslims say Jesus is like Adam, born with no father.... but why then does Jesus have a mother? it makes no sense... Christ is God. Amen

  • Muslims say Jesus is like Adam, born with no father.... but why then does Jesus have a mother? it makes no sense... Christ is God. Amen

mmmm good point because in your logic jesus needed a mother like exactly cuz he jesus peacebe with him needed a mother to feed him!! therefore jesus is not God

  • May God who is loving, merciful and firm, bless you.

  • Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. john 14.6
