Something just struck me about this cartoon, and its offensive stereotype.

If this cartoon were made today, the animators would probably have it be a one-joke segment, where the gay hairdresser attempts to manicure a bland villain and gets punched out.

But Chuck Jones and his team, they actually went somewhere with it, and instead of having the hairdresser be the VICTIM of the joke, he's the instigator.
