@71tofu He's right. plus they're owned by one of the largest internet company in the world (Google) and if a company wants to come in and pay to use a free service to keep a website running they can be my guest. The Youtube website is the largest consumer of data in the world and if you pay for internet then you know how expensive that can get. no to mention that the amount of servers required to store all 144 MILLION videos that are on youtube? Thats business 101, covering overhead costs.
