I recently got a N97mini and I am very dissapointed with it. The battery is the main problem. I charged my phone for about 9 hours overnight last night and my battery was dead before I got home from work today. It is sickening. Although I got the phone for free, I signed up for a 24 month contract because I thought I was getting a top quality product. The phone also occasionally switches itself off randomly. And, the touch screen is not very responsive, All I can say is, don't buy this phone.
the look, the size, smaller screen, no lens cover on the mini, only 8 gb on the mini.. and some metal parts on the mini.. And thats just about it.. Same firmware
I really like the BS excuse for making the hardware more robust with the metal back it now has. Let me translate what Nokia means when they say they made it for a particular segment: While the design of the N97 was magnificent, we have been hearing many complaints of the plastic used in it's design and the less than great feeling users have of it. So in order to prevent the back cover from creaking, we have decided to finally give you what you wanted; a metal back." Now fix the lens cover.
