I love and hate Quinton Tarantino films. I don't like it because all of his films follow the same schedule. They all have a really long talking part then an action part then repeat. I find the talking parts kind of boring sometimes but at the same time his movies are really good for that reason because you know it's building up to something. There's no story in this movie. Nonlinear for no apparent reason, no real conflict and the characters didn't really have much to do with one another. This movie gets a lot of praise because it's unique and original in it's format, but that doesn't mean it's good. I can respect the skill that went into making it, but there's not much to really love. There's no emotional connection to anyone, things happen in the movie for no reason... It's just not as good as people tell themselves.
