How can a Jersey Boy capture the heart, soul, and spirit of the West in such an amazing epic Western Musical Story? It fairly screams Clint Eastwood, I can feel all of those spirits of Clint Eastwood Movies Past. It is Amazing.
Bruce Springsteen is truly an American Treasure. He's right up there with his hero Bob Dylan as one of the last remaining American Songwriting Bards. He combines the profound socially conscious voice of Dylan, with the energy of James Brown, with the voice of Roy Orbison, the gift for songcraft of Lennon/McCartney and the showmanship of Elvis.
First of all I LOOOOOOVE you BRUUUUUUUCE! You are A LIVING AMERICAN LEGEND and I treasure each new song you write and amazing live performance I can see of yours on YouTube- allowing me the next best experience to the transcedental experience of seeing you and the E Street band live.
Secondly, did anybody else hear a VERY brief but, to me, unmistakable homage to the Beatles Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight/The End piano piece from 6:45 to 6:51 in the video?
Outstanding and fantastic are two of the many words that can be used to actually say how good Bruce was on that Friday"Rain Free" Night last June 2009 - He did an amazing set and all I can say to everyone is "If you ever get the chance to go and see him live just once in your lives I can promise you that it will be a night to remember" Thanks Bruce come back to the UK soon.
