yeah, NHRA used to air on two different national networks, both ABC and NBC, on and off again from the 1960's-90's. But both networks would only cover one or two events a year. Back then, the NHRA was primarily on The Nashville Network or ESPN. And both NBC and ABC would tape the events, wait a week or two to air them, and only show an hour's worth or coverage! ESPN's current coverage is so much better than what the national network's used to do...
