  • every time somebody calls marijuana a gateway drug i want to steal an oil tanker and run it into their fuckin face.

  • idk wuts so hard to undrstnd about this how can u accruately measure use i mean how many ppl r actually telling the truth about how much and when or even if they use i doubt many now WHEN it is legalized ya im sure use will go up a bit but it WONT go up with teens a lot and eventually will go down it willno longer be THE FORBIDDEN FRUIT

  • Steve Fox is undefeated. He hasn't lost a debate in my opinion. Gd'damn, dude is the shit.

  • The opposed to marijuana always turn the story down some side street and start talking about every other drug. Stick to the story topic if we wanted to go down some side street for one if alcohol is legal then why are some alcohols illegal? And then theres cigarettes. Everything u chose to do is your drug. Why does the government force use to use the drugs they choose?

  • I wonder if Brian Darling has read Steve Fox's book as I am right now. All the answers to his ill informed points are in the book which is well researched for those facts. I'm sick of these opinionated people who have not got the facts straight or are just plain burying their heads in the sand and ignoring the basic human rights of choice and freedom. Nobody is forcing people to smoke! It is a choice and as so called free people it should be the individuals right to decide what they consume.

  • When my parents cought me with weed they sent me to a phycologist. My phycologist said that mpp was wrong and was just wanting kids to smoke weed so they could get money. WhAt he doesn't know is thAt fox news is paid by a bunch of filthy rich bankers who's ansestors made weed illegal becuase of his black ass! Fuck my phycologist imma smoke weed 3rry d@y!

  • the opposing figure is a complete moron... i wish he would just get over his self and join the majority of the population of legalization.

  • I was a very frequent smoker but had to stop to get a new job where I was going to be drug tested. I haven't smoked in over a month and I'm not pulling my hair out because I need to smoke.

  • What this douchebag is failing to recognize is that with pot legal, law enforcement would have better resources to adequately enforce the prohibition of "harder" drugs like coke, meth and H. Also, the revenue going to drug smugglers would be decreased by at least 50%. And he KNOWS that he's lying when he says "gateway drug" but he says it anyway because he's on tv. I want to spit in his face. lol

  • Gateway drug, ruins lungs, leads to cocaine use=BULLSHIT

  • cannabis has been proven not to be a gateway drug in university studys however the guy who was against pot use was otherwise truthfull honest and respectfull his points are semi legit sot thats a bonus most of the time anti pot actavists feed lies i will take his perception on the Gateway issue an a misconception

  • We can legalize drugs. Or any drugs we don't want to legalize we can leave in the hands of the cartels.

  • He isn't even answering the question. Lawl.

  • marijuana is not addictive.........marijuana is more available to kids....when its sold on the street....if its sold in a store its going to be harder for minors to purchase it.....doctors prescribe oxycontin, opana, perks, etc to people on a daily basis....and legalizing weed will is less harmful than any of that shitttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt......down with gestapo.....down

  • you suck Steve Fox.... stay off our side. what an asshat.... is this really the best guy that MPP could get to debate people? AAARRRGGGHHHH

  • @grissaostdrauka he did do a bad job this time i fully agree he went in a circle on the alchahol vs pot issue but take a look at his debate on the oriely factor with that blonde girl he did a killer job

  • @asmodaes1 I was a little harsh....it just annoys me that we can't get someone with a little more charisma and confidence to debunk the same tired and misleading arguments time and time again.....he has been better in other interviews. A. Houston is consistently better.

  • fuckin closed minded conservatives.

  • Brian Darling is a terrible debater. Usually I am pissed off at the other side because they are wrong and obnoxious but brian debating this just makes me crack up!

  • There are two ways to take down the gateway theory. First of all it has been debunked by both studies and statistics. Second of all the only way it would lead to someone using a harder substance that they wouldn't ordinarily use is because it is on the illegal market. It is on the same market where cocaine and heroin is sold and pot users are introduced to these substances because of it. If marijuana were legal and could be sold in stores, pot users and drug dealing thugs would never meet!

  • ONE MORE THING LOL... HE SAYS "WE NEED TO DRAW THE LINE SOMEWHERE" SO WHY NOT DRAW THE LINE AFTER LEGALIZING MARIJUANA NATION WIDE????? CMON PEOPLE LMAO ITS SUCH COMMON SENSE!!! NO ONE HAS EVER SAID ANYTHING ABOUT LEGALIZING COCAINE! BECAUSE COCAINE AND OTHER DRUGS DO NOT OFFER THE BENEFITS THAT POT DOES... I SO HOPE MARIJUANA WILL BE NATIONALLY LEGAL WITHIN THE NEXT FEW YEARS. I FEEL THAT LIFE IN THE USA WOULD BE SO MUCH BETTER... IT SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN MADE ILLEGAL TO BEGIN WITH...

  • ANOTHER THING! PEOPLE DONT JUST WATCH THIS VIDEO, SUBSCRIBE, AND COMMENT... BUT PASS IT ON... PROMOTE ALL THESE VIDEOS THAT LET THE TRUTH BE KNOWN! PASS DOWN TO FRIENDS FAMILY THRU EMAIL OR WATEVER!! LETS GET THE WORD OUT TO ALL THESE NON BELIEVERS ! BTW HOW MUCH U WANNA GUARANTEE THAT THE LADY (HOST) SMOKES MARIJUANA??? :]

    ~PeAcE, LoVe, HaPPiNeSs, WeEd~

  • OMG I LOVE THESE VIDEOS ABSOLUTELY LOVE THESE VIDEOS!! THIS IS THE BEST ONE YET THIS GUY DEFINITELY GOT THE BEST OF THAT HERITAGE GUY.. WHEN FACED WITH REALITY THE GOVERNMENT CONTINUES TO LEAD OFF TOPIC, APPLY FALSE OR MISLEADING INFO (PROPAGANDA) AND JUST SIMPLY AVOID COMING OUT WITH THE TRUTH COMPLETELY!!? WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE GOVERNMENT WHEN WILL THE PEOPLE THAT RUN "OUR" NATION COME TO THEIR SENSES!?!?! THE TIME IS NOW!

  • 'i wonder what people watching this debate fifteen, twenty years from now will think??' they will say the guy from the heritage foundation was supported/bought by the tobacco, pharmaceutical, and alcohol industry. For they are the ones with much to lose from legalizing marijuana.

  • If you legalized it, more people might use it... yes - INSTEAD of more dangerous drugs like alcohol or tobacco. HELLO...! This would be a GOOD thing! Less people dieing of cancer, alcohol overdoses, and drunk driving...

  • god i hate that brian i hate that cock sucker

  • wow! in a debate about pot with a person for legalizing pot, a person against, and a referee, the person against uses such bad debate points/ tactics that it's more of a debate between the referee and the person against.

  • you forgot to address his bullshit statement on the affect of the lungs.

  • Steve could have came back a lot harder. I was watching this video just wanting to shout out the inconsistencies Brian was making. It was outrageous.

  • @FrankieFrustration22 i agree he kinda replayed the

better than alcohal thing i mean

    it should be legal

i can smoke anything i want

and if i do something that is illegal

then you should lock me up

we dont need to be babysitted

  • @FrankieFrustration22 holy shit! i know!!!!!!!but i bet if he was for arguing for alchohol he would have been screaming. this dude is too chill to come back hard

  • Brian Darling is dillusional at best. He's highly misinformed on the issue and/or a purveyor of diversionary propaganda.

  • I don't think this statistic helps Brian. "High school usage of marijuana has gone down since 1979" (2:13)...Then he says how making more available would increase our problem. What problem? The only problem is that its illegal!

  • the people who oppose pot use make them selves look foolish, by getting all riled up. haha when you look at the calm collected pro pot using debater, he looks good.

  • Woohoo i like this anchor she keeps people on track haha.

  • no one said a damn thing about legalizing cocaine heroin and all the other drugs he mentioned. stop dodging the fucking truth u stupid mother fucker. you were on to argue why marijuana is so damn bad not PRETEND that were trying to get hardcore shit legal. ignorant mother fucker need a bat to the dome.

  • and another thing. my cousin was KILLED last year by a DRUNK driver not a STONED driver.

  • " gateway drug that leads to other drugs such as cocaine and heroin" ok guys Ive smoked pot for 7 years. NEVER done coke NEVER done heroin. only other drug I've experimented with was xanax. and Ive only done that like 3 times. so when does the gateway part come in?

  • Soon as Brian ''Darling'' started speaking I couldn't help but think of Ghostbusters:

"What he means is Old Testament, Mr. Mayor, real wrath of God type stuff."

"Fire and brimstone coming down from the skies! Rivers and seas boiling! "

"Forty years of darkness! Earthquakes, volcanoes... "

"Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together... mass hysteria"

  • I'm pretty sure that if you eat it, it's far less harmeful than smoking it anyway, i'd like to see a study or have a doctor tell me if there are any physical siide effects or damage from eating it. as far as mental issues, yeah i know it does affect some people in this way badly, but alcohol can do the same thing and many other things, risk in everything you do, just less risk with marijuana than most things i think, not like its chemically altered like coke or other things

  • Water is a gateway to Crack Cocaine! 100% of people who have done crack have been heavy water users. Ill-intentioned people can and will spin statistics to "prove" whatever lies they are telling. The gateway theory has thoroughly been debunked. People who try to use the gateway theory in defense of prohibition simply cannot be trusted, for they are either stupid or lying.

  • cancer, helps prevent cancer, only a gateway drug because they think illegal drugs will be ok because marijuana isnt bad, there hasnt been a reported overdose in 5,000 years and has basically been proven to be almost physically impossible. it may not be healthy, but cigarettes and alcohol are so much worse and there have been many tests to say motor skills on weed are much better on weed then alcohol and doesnt generally make ppl pissed off like alcohol

  • whaatrb

  • the whole "gateway drug" deal has been debunked since the beginning of time it seems, I wonder why they still keep bringing it up. If ANYTHING is "gateway drug" than surely it is tobacco or alcohol, since these are the first drugs people try before illegal ones.

  • this was a good one rayn sux on this debait

  • Hollywood pill poppers have nothing to do with potheads. burn that idiot propagandist or send him onto his "gateway" to hell. draw the line after pot. that's all there is to it. I'd lace that guys food with ganja given the chance. What a duesh

  • Why isn't Steve Fox in everyone of these debates?

  • Why isn't Steve Fox in everyone of these debates?

  • Why isn't Steve Fox in everyone of these debates?

  • It was cigarettes that taught me how to inhale smoke for the first time, that's for sure.

  • Funny how prohibitionists struggle to articulate an argument against cannabis without introducing the words "cocaine" "heroin" and "methamphetamine" in their sentences.

  • @albikavo I know that is just very stupid! Uuugh it makes me want to shit in a bucket and throw it at his face. I loved the news reporter "doesn't lead to overdose" YES ONE UP!!!!

  • this guy on here told me some one has died from lung cancer from weed. i thought no one has ever died from weed. someone prove to me some one has died from it,

  • @pimpint6900 inhaling burning plant matter can't do any good, regardless of what kind of plant it is... but think about how much you are smoking... even an everyday habitual pot smoker has to be smoking less than 4-5 cigarettes worth of plant matter a day, compared to a 4 times that much for a pack-a-day smoker. I've smoked cannabis a several times a month for 4-5 years now and I bet i've smoked less plant matter than 4-5 packs of cigarettes

  • Comment removed

  • 15 years from now they'll look at the heritage guy like he was a witch burner from the 1600's (a nut ball looking out for himself)

all government information that negatively shows marijuana is false. this plant will be so useful to humans it is incredible. industrial hemp alone will help in so many ways with practical natural solutions. it worked at the founding of the US and it will help during our hard economic times.

  • Everyone is saying that marijuana is a gateway drug. Nobody's talking about how alcohol is a gateway drug. Alcohol is just as much of a "drug".

  • that prohibitionist idiot probably thought he won.

  • Some old lies and distortions. Show me a body.

Where does it END?!?! It ends when a person with a substance problem gets help and everybody else gets treated like an adutl citizen of a free country.

  • We as a society should allow people to put whatever the hell they want in their body, as long as they dont harm anyone else!

Just because heroin or cocaine is legal, doesn't mean I'm not gonna run out and start shooting up smack.

  • Mr. Heritage Foundation: You do know what the hell you are talking about...completely out of touch with the population.

  • How would it be more available to kids if there is an age restriction in place and regulated establishments will have to card these young people?! All the prohibitionist resort to are fear tactics and the "OHHH IF IT is legalized the world will somehow going to come to an end. " Totally absurd, stop the BS! We know what the prohibitionist want and that is more drug violence, more prisons, more arrests, more prosecutions, and more bloated bureaucracy coming from organizations like the DEA.

  • I love the phony scare tactics this guy uses to frighten our good wholesome prescription addicted nation. I sometimes think big pharma tries to keep it illegal because its grown medicine

  • @all you nerds...My favorite argument against the gateway theory is that if it were true that there was some causality between smoking marijuana and doing other drugs then the rate of use of those drugs would increase at an equal rate as marijuana use. however, that is not the case...

  • LOL Aspirin is the "gateway" to Crak cocaine. Pot is the "gateway" to the black market. To fix that, take it off the black market.

  • no drug is good. its FAR better than vicadin. i was addicted to that shit for two months. i mean addicted 7-8 pills a day it started when they gave me it for my broken foot. when i had to quit (cus i ran out)i was horribly depressed for two weeks. so when it came time to get my wisdom teeth out. i smoked pot through my nose and not only did it work faster and better but i wasnt addicted! when my teeth healed i quit. i still use it recreationally once every couple of months, but thats it.

  • i would just like you to know i unspammed this message cus it was marked as spam. when it is clearly something people need to see.

  • no he's dumbdont draw the line on something less harmful. noone will ever be for legalizing cocaine or heroine. . thats dumb. why punish ppl for realizing alcohol destroys lives much more often then pot.and to me its a gateway drug cus the only ppl who could be examples of this, started smoking at an early age anyway. those are the type of kids who want to be bad ass. i would like to see a study that shows that the earlier you start it the more likely you are to go on to hard drugs.

  • It is only a gateway drug because it is illegal. Dealers try to push other harder drugs to marijuana buyers and obviously some will try those. If legalized, there would be no gateway whatsoever. Studies have shown that cannabis has no physical property that would lead to other drugs.

  • I'm a mother as well as a Registered nurse. I would much rather have my boys smoking pot then drinking! ANYDAY! You have never heard of ANYONE EVER overdosing on marijuana. You have never heard of ANYONE smoking a joint and driving into a tree. It's just common sense to me, and thats just from a recreational standpoint. The medical benefits from marijuana are astounding! It's helped everything from allowing cancer patients to eat, to cluster headaches and menstrual cramps.

  • @timothygurgir You are right about everything except the driving into a tree thing. The few deaths related to marijuana are from car crashes or other accidents. Just want to make sure you know that DWI is never good!

  • @timothygurgir thank you, enough said

  • @timothygurgir i wish you were my mom

  • @timothygurgir be my mom

  • crvskate you dont know wat the hell your talking about.

  • I think a better pro-leglization speaker could've been chosen. Californians especially need someone charismatic and persuasive to convince those on the fence to vote for leglization this November.

  • Legalize it! Then we will have less people using pharmaceuticals and teenagers having less access to drugs like oxycoten.

  • The host was a little biased.

  • Milk is the real gateway drug, not pot.

  • But we aren't talking about legalizing cocaine or other harder drugs. The only way he can make it look bad is by trying to associate it with harder drugs and that's what he is trying to do.

  • they state its harmful but will never give a reason how its harmful, why? because its not. and teens will do it wether any one likes it or not. no one has ever died from weed. look at how many people die from tobacco and alcohol a year. the guy who is against it is stupid. he knows nothing.

  • No cases of lung cancer caused by marijuana only have ever been recorded.

  • @crvskate that's a lie. prove it. liar.

  • @crvskate do some research

  • @nintendude1994 I have and thats why i know its possible.

  • @crvskate no. you haven't. because you're completely wrong. how about providing a real source then?

  • @crvskate Anyone whose done even a minor amount of research into the health consequences of marijuana should know that even though carcinogens exist in the smoke that the bud produces, it has been proven that cancer does not result and has never resulted in any documented case in history. It's obvious you haven't done your research if you still believe your point.

  • @teakthek plus, there's always the option to vaporize or ingest, which leaves virtually no health risks (there are more carcinogenics in most food than in non-combusted cannabis)

  • @crvskate care to show some works cited?

  • @crvskate they only would get lung cancer because they mix it with tobacco.

  • Except it's only a gateway drug as long as it's illegal. In places where it is legal, it is not a gateway drug. The reason it's a gateway drug is b/c it is illegal. Stupid man...

  • Does he have any evidence to back up his claims that people (and kids) will be smoking more pot if it becomes legalized??? That's the not the case with amersterdam or in states in the U.S. where it has become decriminalized.

  • I like that she said "but what does that have to do with pot?". Exactly...

  • Some people are so brainwashed its unbelievable. At least the show commentator was unbiased which is unusual.

    Prohibition never works.

  • Lolol that tool even tried the absurd old 'gateway theory.' It's 2010, get with the times.

  • "smoke something that ruins your lungs" ok then... why is tobacco still legal then.

  • the puppet on the right is a joke. why are americans so stupid

  • Dude's using the same, unfounded, debunked arguments from the 80s. Gateway drug? Statistically unfounded. Dependency? Nonsense. "Cocaine & Heroin... Where do you end?" Right now, the debate is on marijuana. While we're at it, why doesn't America lose what little control they have over alcohol and tobacco by making THEM illegal? That would jive nicely with the prohibitionist's arguments.

  • Its already causing problems since its illegal

  • No amount of money, police powers, weaponry, diminution of rights and liberties, wishful thinking or pseudo-science will make our streets safer; only an end to prohibition can do that. How much longer are you willing to foolishly risk your own survival by continuing to ignore the obvious, historically confirmed solution?

  • If you still support the kool aid mass suicide cult of prohibition, and erroneously believe that you can win a war without logic and practical solutions, then prepare yourself for even more death, corruption, terrorism, sickness, imprisonment, unemployment, foreclosed homes, and the complete loss of the rule of law and the Bill of Rights.

  • People are using too much DRUGS! Pot will help cut down on oxycotton vicodein and codine. This man is severly undereducated and has NO business debating the issue unless his job is to make his side look stupid. Oh wait ya haha! Keep spewing your propaganda dumb ass you help our ause with your stupidity.

  • LOL! you can tell she smokes weed. It was pretty blatant that she was leaning toward the pro-legalization side.

  • legalize it

  • Its easier to get if ur a teen. In phx alot of teens in my highschool sold weed, not just used it. Maybe 1 out of 6 people used or sold weed and it might of been higher since alot of people kept it on the down low.

And weed is only a gate way drug because the majority of people have to go to a gang banger to get there weed. And cartels and there clients dont just sell weed they sell whatever you want. If i bought weed and a local store they probably wouldnt have cocaine ready to sell.

  • when the gov't wants to shoot and kill you over it that, is enough reason to make it legal.

  • the gov't killing people and stealing homes is worse than anything the weed could do.

  • what a idiot

to cover the kids topic completely and fully no debate

the cartels will never stop selling if its illegal

there for the children will always be around it illegal or not

FACT its easier to get weed as a under age teen then cigarettes or booze

i would know im 18 and its a bitch to get booze but a dealer doesn't card you =P

and as for it being bad for you vaporized weed has been shown in study s to be good for you in many ways and is a medicine for a reason,

    Such ignorance must be blis

  • legalizing cocaine and heroin? I have never seen 1 person say legalize cocaine or heroin.. it should be decriminalized and made a health problem not a criminal problem

  • Steve was getting that dude all nervous

  • gateway my ass, i drank milk first so then i started drinking alcohol. This theory is so fucked it's not funny. Also in Amsterdam where it is legal, less people use it there than hear percentage wise and number wise. They say its like this because they make it seem boring and dont punish ppl for its use, soooo brian what do u have to say to that u fucktard.

    lol

  • Alcohol prohibition ended because of economic reasons.

  • J is running!

  • She smokes.

    :)

  • Thats good even the anchor is on the legalization side :D

  • i'd love to smoke some with her. ;)

  • the surest way to make them bleed, is to bust their ass and steal their weed

  • If it's legalized it will become less of a gateway drug... Any somewhat logical person would realize that

  • legalizing it would make it harder for kids to get it... just like alcohol you would need an id and get it from a store... while its illegal they could just get it from anyone... fuck ignorance... dont even fucking think...

  • and when its legal we can still get...

  • i noticed that and i think its a smart idea to legalize it because itll do some good for this society

  • legalize go go.

  • legalize coke and heroin 0.o LMAO

  • He needs to research a little more. fuck you Brian.

  • LOL im sure he has done the research, and chosen to ignore it

  • Bahahahaha! That guy against legalization is funny!

  • Who would you rather be driving down the road a drunk or a person who has smoked a joint? Which one will kill you and your family?

  • "has gone down since 1979"

that is utter bullshit! I could ask my cousin to go to his 4th period class and get me an ounce of herb anytime!

the difference from the 70s and now, is that kids are smarter now, and get caught less.

if kids used to smoke more, then holy cow, it must've been 60% kids smoking back in the days because a lot of kids smoke nowadays.

  • Who rolled that joint? It's gunna canoe.

  • lmao XD

  • I hate ignorant people

  • welcome to planet earth :P

  • That Brian guy gets both angry and defensive, a good sign that he knew he was losing the argument. Saying weed is a gateway drug is a total lie and he knows it... saying more teens will use weed if legal is a total lie!!! In high school it is easier to get pot than alcohol for most kids! Legalization and regulation will actually make it less accessable and less cool for kids! Just look at Amsterdam (decriminalized/tolerated) for proof!

  • Gateway.. lol

  • yea i lol'ed too.

  • "We're not saying that this is the best thing for you."

Uh, I am. It is good for you. Really good for you in fact. Especially if used vaporized or as an edible. But even smoked, no one is getting cancer from it, so I don't see why we need to go with the institution's view that it's a given that it's not good for us. Where are the figures on this showing this given harm?

Great work though guys, truly, you're doing priceless work for us all. I just had to share this concern on this one thought.

  • @CannabisHeals well smoked say though a joint or a pipe with no filtration straight smoke i would say that yes it is harmful just minimal damage is all and i agree vaporized you dont even feel it

    its nicee

  • legalize

  • He says that a lot more people are using alcohol , but he misses the fact that most people only use 1 drug( except for cigarettes with go with everything I guess...). If we see people moving from alcohol to weed , then this would definitely be a major leap for society. Marijuana can have various effects on the brain , some good , some bad... it's different depending on who smokes it , but It hardly touches your lungs and it does no damage to liver , digestive system etc. Legalize people :)

  • LOL! The opposition looks like a muppet.

Fuck I hate the word "drug" people use it everywhere for all different connotations. Love is a fuckin drug, let's criminalize that!

  • i love to see how fooled humans can get tbh.. its just so amazing that people like brian darling still exists :D, how can one be so narrow minded, so unfamiliar with reality :D.. imo, it must be something within the genom of these people.. something that makes them dumb as fuck, but still unable to die becaus of some unknown reason... stupid survivor syndrome, that must be it :S

  • where do i start for ripping this guy apart? i feel like he just built a house of toothpicks and handed me a bat

i guess my main complaint is that, i can get any drug i want within an hour so we need to change something and keeping marijuana illegal just makes me buy it from someone instead of from a store

  • When I was in high school, getting weed was sooo much easier than getting alcohol, and alcohol is legal. I think that legalizing weed will stop drug dealers from selling weed. That makes it harder for high school students to get it, cuz now they have to find someone 21 or older to get it for them. I don't know, I'm high and only theorizing =P

  • that Brian guy is dumb as fuck

  • @razvaNazdravan He's a total douche. He's like "Yes, alcohol is worse than pot" "It's socially acceptable to have a drink, that's fine!"

"We don't want to make pot socially acceptable, because then more people will do it!"

What the fuck kind of argument is that?

  • @rhysie21

    good comment

  • i fucking smoke weed everyday and i maintain a 3.8 gpa and in the principals honor roll. fuck people who say pot makes people stupid

  • Hahahah Im so glad I live in LA!

  • Thank god i moved to CA

  • this guy is a tooL, he sounds like a 1940's Infomercial "Reefer Madness" anyone? Gateway drug? ya...uhh...go suck your thumb & tell me if that leads to suckin' dick, u moron! "We already have a drug & alcohol problem", ok I'll give u that one. But guess what? People are addicted to shit that does nothing but harm to you, eg>> Alcohol, Tobacco, Prescription Drugs. People shouldn't have their lives ruined for something the GOVT used to pay people to grow (pre-1937), it's a fucking planT!

  • The gateway drug theory is true for all of the reasons stated in Fujimoto420's post. The government forces a marijuana smoker to go and see an illegitimate dealer for their pot. This dealer, more often than not, has cocaine and/or heroin and/or meth etc. By forcing a buyer to go to a dealer the risk that the buyer comes into contact with stronger drugs skyrockets. Marijuana *is* a gateway drug, but it doesn't have to be.

  • disagree, most pot dealers are not selling other drugs.

  • more available to teens if legal? bullshit. it's harder to get alcohol as a teen than it is weed. why? cause dealers don't care how old you are, stores DO. if it was legal, dealers would go out of business, kids could only get their weed from someone who buys it for them over 21. it would be MUCH harder to get weed, this guy is an idiot

  • This gateway thing is bullshit. I've smoked pot for about 11 years now, and have NEVER even tried Cocaine or Heroine. This guy is just laughable. The only gateway effect is the damn dealers that only want to make more sales so they try to get you hooked on stronger stuff. THEY are the gateway, not marijuana. They just happen to sell pot as well because hey, it's more money for them.

  • Mr. Heritage Foundation, Let's ban prescription drugs then, and we'll all be okay.

  • Brian Darling fail!
