I am going to screen this video for my Brother To Brother program and have a discussion. I cannot wait. At age 53, I am still HIV negative and I'm passionate about teaching my brothers to love and respect themselves and each other, so we can save us all. Thanks for the new inspiration.

This video is revolutionary. What a brave potent message. Blacks are 12% of the population, but we are 50% of new AIDS cases in America. I have friends who have died. I have friends who have lived for 20 plus years with HIV. We can no longer afford to be in denial or on the DL. Survival with AIDS is possible, but it requires being truthful to yourself, to your partners, having a great supportive network and great health care. Amazing work Marshall. Greatly needed. @MotherBenn As a Black Man, I resent the ridiculous notion that you "think" we are only "12%" of the population. In fact, many American Black People DO NOT ALLOW themselves to be counted by ANY record keeping system in the US, and thus the true number (which is viciously larger than 12%) will NEVER really be truly known. Thus making us a truly "invisible race" both demographically and racially in America. That, of course, has had an obvious negative impact in some markets, but not all.
@EBTL0947 I get your point about the black population. it's not what I "think", it's what the 2010 census reported. If that number is incorrect, so be it. My point is that according to the CDC Blacks and Latinos are contracting the AIDS virus in record numbers. Not whites. We have to do something about it. Awareness and education are key in this issue. This video is a great step forward in building awareness and getting people to be truthful about who they are and what they do sexually. Peace!
