And the thing that I always thought was interesting was before 1920 I would be considered to be an ethnic minority. Which I thought was kind of interesting to know especially since I have been referred to as being white all my life. Not making this a pity parade, but my family all faced some sort of racism over the last 60 years. Either because of social/political reasons or whatever.

you see so many Mexicans working in various jobs that you dont see most Americans in is because they are willing to do the work that most Americans consider to be beneath them or a job that doesnt pay enough.
In way it somewhat disturbs me because some things that I have seen have been borderline slavery (with their wages & all that) but I have to admire them because they have that pick up & go that most of us Americans have lost. Either you belong in this group or you either belong or that 1.
