  • Shit dude that's intense...

  • Japan has died from this. and dont think its only there as its all just begun. the entire world is fucked forever so everyone in every land expect to die before the year 2020.

  • how can people be making jokes about this??

  • @5firestars cuz the camera guy dident run out of the building he recorded for his life and also the workers dident run out but they were holding the stuff down lol...and another thing is japan always gets earthqaukes they should know what to do by heart

  • I bet you those ladies are saying: fuck were going to have to work Overtime!!

  • Get real that wasn't an 8.9 media lies.. 8.9 would have destroyed that store.

  • @thap8tient you're the one that needs to get real....the 1960 quake in valdivia didn't level the whole city, the 2 powerful quakes that hit mexico city left CENTURIES old cathedrals standing. the '64 alaska quake did not destroy valdez, etc. japan and the u.s. lead the world in architectual engineering and know how to build sturdy structures. there are many reasons for the damage (mexico, alaska) that happens, such as earthquake liquefaction, etc....

  • what a waste of wine!

  • the fury when mother nature finds out that father god is cheating on her

  • Can you sue an earthquake for property destruction?

  • @Markt666 LOL xD

  • I would have thought they would have been bright enough to make the shelves with a raised edge so things don't fall off.

  • @londontrialscat

Thats a niche in the market.. move to japan..you will make 1000s of Yen.. ;-)

  • Now all the soda is gonna explode after you open it.

  • :) supermarket ambient music keeps going!!

  • HURRY Hold the wine shelves these bottles are not cheap, Fuck the NWO and there quake weapons

  • lol shes all trying to catch the falling shit then she just says fuck it..lol

  • @MrNutana

    Die in hell. Fucking cunt.

  • holy shit

  • feel sorry for that woman :( she just finished stacking those shelves too... ahh well

  • cleanup on all isles

  • I love the Japanese Hope , they have nuclear destruction in 2 of they city and a Earthquake with a Tsunami , but they rise, went ahead and became a major world economies

I think the Japanese people would have to be an example of the other peoples of the world

  • Yeah mother nature does not give a damn about any race. I has no hatred for no one.

  • I have to give props to the person who was able to keep their cool & thought wisely enough to grab their smart phone and start recording during the earthquake. In a quake that big, I think that would be the last thing I would think to do. Great video. Thanks.

  • Clean up on aisle three.

  • Why is there disaster music playing in the background in the store??

  • Clean up in isle , uuuhm, just pick one.

  • You really have to admire the Japanese work ethic! Most Americans (myself likely included lol) would have hauled ass out of there without a thought for the merchandise!

  • screw the fish sauce and get the hell out of there!

  • :30 watch...KERPLOP!!

  • Lol i would be the guy that would hold a knife and lay in the wine

  • Nooo not the wine! D:

  • If I worked in a supermarket and there was a quake like that you wouldn't see me trying to save £10 bottles of wine. >.< I'd be long gone.

  • 50% off all products that fell off the shelves

  • Since when did all these comments involve politics/war? It's a video clip showing an earthquake occur in a market. If this sparks political/war debates I'd hate to see what the ACTUAL political videos have in their comments... -_-

  • A perfect time to grab a couple cases of beer and run out ha ha ha!!!

  • @CREEPYPSYCHOMYCO no. this is not something to joke about. they would not do that. they are so amazing and have such strong will power. im am in tears after seeing this and thinking about what so many people had to go through and how strong they where through all of it.

  • OMG FUCKING SCARY

  • I'm sure 007 was in Japan at the time, shaken not stirred!!!

  • LOL, fucking ignorant americans shits in their pants by 5.0 earthquakes... American buildings is just shit, they fucking collapse by small earthquakes... Now this was a 9.0 earthquakes, still no buildings collapsed by the earthquake itself. But it was the tsunami that was the problem! Now fuck off u poor bankrupt fucking americans!

  • @Hardbass11 i agree with you about the buildings in America but we don't have earthquakes as much so we don't really understand the enforcement of building codes like japan does... sorry to bother you...just wanted to point that out

  • lol after the earthquath they just go back t shoping

  • I live in japan I went through this first hand it is a scary thing but you don't think about the fact that it's scary you think about saving what's dear to you

  • @dreadedsoul100 that's a start way of thinking

  • in america--- oh shiit, (runs and scream )

  • Earthquake in America: "Everybody get the eff out of here!" Earthquake in Japan: "Quick, we must use our powers to hold up the buildings!" ... Lol. Japan.

  • @Sarawkweird lmao

  • @Sarawkweird Japan- Save the groceries. America- Lets go looting!

  • Save the wine!

  • I can almost guarantee, that the top 2 comments are from fat, sun fearing, basement livin', dorito lovin', anime worshiping guys that are like 30+ years old living with their mothers who, if given a shit load of money, would go straight to japan and pretend to be an anime character while there. Believe me this.

  • @Mofoe2001 Doesn't mean they don't have a point.

  • What does ww2 and an earthquake have to do with one another? You're all ranting idiots... >_>

As far as the video, earthquakes are something else. It's terrifying to see the ground moving under you like that! I would have felt sick. Hope no one in the store was hurt. Doesn't look like it, and at 1:32 she still says "Have a good night" so calmly! (At least, that's what it sounds like, lol).

  • What a mess!

  • Okay, so let's make it "justice for Pearl Harbor", and have Japan drop two nukes on US cities of their choice. I think then it's even.

  • Wat?

  • お客様の「命」より、商品の命。

    最低なスーパーだね。

  • i swear i heard music in the background

  • why are they wearing masks ?

  • Besides the spilled soy sauce or alcohol whatever that was, this mess is nothing; might just take about an hour to clean up the whole store, lol

  • Must have been a big surprise to America-Kun at 0:45 lol.

  • Pardon the pun, but the youtube idiot factor is off the Richter scale

  • i understand some nice people are trying to defend japan from some heartless people but honestly, dont waste your time, its like trying to destroy a brick wall with a teddy bear. instead lets all help donate to the japan relief thing. they need us now more than ever :)

  • @HappyNerd191 maybe a steel-reinforced teddy bear will knock dowm those haters!

  • Just proves the japanese would take their life first than their job.

  • DID YOU HEAR MR CHANG IN THE BACKGROUND? HE SAID "OK YOU PAY, YOU PAY NOW!!!!

  • At 0:55 shes saying "Bitch u must b crazy if u think im cleaning this sht up."

  • Why the fuck would anyone stay inside. seriously what the fuck do you think is gonna happen the building is gonna shake violently and it definitely wont fall.??? seriously be smart and go the fuck outside

  • @foxxrder4lfe They are probably in a bigger earthquake safe building better to stay inside than stuff falling on them outside!

These people probably been in many earthquakes before they know what to do.

  • @foxxrder4lfe Buildings in Tokyo are built with a much higher standard than in other places. It's one of the best-prepared cities for earthquakes, so there wasn't much damage there. Anyways, using your logic, going outside would be just as dangerous. If those buildings DID fall, where would they fall? On whoever's outside next to them. Most people recommend staying low in a building away from high ceilings.

  • clean up on aisle everything

  • just goes to show what kind of people the Japs are. You can still here the tills 'beeping' in the background, business as usual. Amazing people in many respects!

  • @scottydesthegooner its just like in the 2012 movie when the supermarket splits in half people still doing their usual jobs...

  • they must be really good quality shelves they didn't really break or shake much it looks like.

  • japan is truly a very graceful and humble country. they treat foreigners with an immense amount of courtesy on a day to day basis. in this great time of need for them, please show a little more respect to a country that is hurting from a natural disaster. if you absolutely MUST be insensitive, look more to the people who are CHOOSING to fight and start wars. Japan did not have a choice here, it wasn't a decision they made that is debatable. please be more sensitive at this time.

  • @totzie54 type in "Unit 731 Japanese Torture & Human Medical Experiments"

  • @wirsenden2 That is unexpectedly horrifying! I lost all respect for them... Did you also hear about Junko Furuta? ): Unbelievable. *sigh*

  • @KookieChan Well if you like their culture... thats ok with me. Just keep in mind that ALL human men have the instict to kill. Culture and morals keep peoples in a neurotic, -sometimes very uncomofrtable unnatural cage so that millions of people can actually work and live together. Our nature is different...

  • @wirsenden2 Thanks ;x. I DID like their culture. I could keep liking them but that really can't hide the fact that they did that... But thanks. It couldn't be kept hidden forever, y'know?

  • @KookieChan I'm half iranian living in germany, i like the texan culture because they have a lot of personal freedom for me....

  • @wirsenden2 Thanks for the info? o.o lol. Texan culture? Personal freedom? Hmm.. Sounds interesting.

  • @KookieChan XD yeah.. you know people are happy if they are free to only listen to their feelings and don't stick to morals or reason to much. if it feels good, its good for you ;-)

  • @mufferrs...i can't speak for the other japanese people, but i wear a mask up there when i have a cold, for the consideration of others so they won't catch it from me. some wear it for the exact opposite reason, they don't want to catch a cold or virus infection. when you're in a place that congested and populated, where you're in close contact with people everywhere you go, masks are useful.

  • wear a mask !! alcohol smells shit !!

  • レジで会計を続ける音が聞こえる

  • うわー離れてた東京でもこの揺れだったのか。

    宮城県内の揺れの動画まだみてないけど、これの倍はやばかったんだろうね。

  • what the fuck do japanese people wear surgical masks for, are they frightened of dieing or something

  • @mufferrs

Besides there being a lot of influenza and other bugs going around (end of winter/early spring) - against which people want to guard/not transmit to others, it was hayfever season - and many people have severe allergies - particularly to cedar pollen in March (there are huge plantations around the big cities here in Japan).

  • @CreekdeTorrens They eat too much live sea food, it causes food poisoning and stumach cancer, i became vegetarian after catching food poisoning from eating chicken.

  • Stupid, just quickly remove all the wines from the shelves and put them on the ground surface will do.

  • EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • so sad

  • so sad

  • wow dedication to red wine?

  • First they were able to create earthquake proof buildings, I would guess earthquake proof liquor shelvs would be next :)

  • Damn those are some dedicated employes! Forget about are saftey lets hold up this shelf and save the wine bottles or whatever that shit was.

  • unbelievably stupid to try and go hold up those shaking shelves. they're lucky the whole motherfucker didn't collapse on them. in an earthquake fuck the stuff save your ass because that's the one thing that can't be replaced.

  • @jwallbanger Yeah indeed

  • Is this Spain ?

  • lmao! the cashier is still ringing items! employee of the month!

  • Are they still checking people out?...

  • @xoblondiebo ahhaahhahaah it looks like it

  • Some cans say shake well, Well there you go

  • REM : " The world is collapsing

    Around our ears

    I turned up the radio

    But I can't hear it".

  • they worry about their raw fish not hitting the ground rather than a lamp not crashing on their heads.

no disrespect but these people need to reconsider priorities.

  • this is what you get when you yell free donuts at the jenny craig center. joking aside whoever says japan deserves this for ww2 is a fucking idiot and needs to be strapped privates first to an ant hill.

  • they are more concerned of the goods than their lives..japanese are the best workers in the world..

  • I'm sorry but I am so sick of all these comments saying "it's justice for Pearl Harbor!" It's makes me so angry-like the U.S. has never attacked another country before. And another thing I keep hearing in the press "this is the worst disaster Japan has suffered since WW2" but they don't mention the fact that the disaster they're talking about is the nuking of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, done by the US. What we did to them was far worse than Pearl Harbor, we killed millions of their people.

  • @07734people Most people who pop off do not have a deep understanding of 20th century history. The death and devastation heaped upon Japan by the US armed forces was more than enough to make up for all of the Empire's transgressions. These same people also give Japan no credit for being a steadfast ally and friend to the USA since 1945.

  • @07734people actually as far as i know only 20000 people died in the explosion but there is NO excuse for what the US done i completly agree with you i just thought id point that out

  • @SDMFbroly 20000?? , over 500,000 died in hiroshima, and 50,000 in nagasaki, and they did it as a test to see what the effects are like on humans, thats why hiroshima was spared of any bombings previous to the explosion aswell as nagasaki

  • @juhstchill420 dude get your facts right if your going to question me i was a bit off but your well off around 70000 died in nagasaki and about 90,000-150,000 died in hiroshima.

and yes i know why they done it.

  • @SDMFbroly where are you getting these facts, it really doesnt matter how many died but i know my nuumbers are correct

  • @juhstchill420 well for 1 your contradicting yourself by saying that and 2 read up about it so dont start unless you know what your talking about.

I got an A in history, i done a 50 page esay about world war 2 and plus i have read up and learned alot about world war 2 and more so about the hiroshima and nagasaki bombings ive also done alot of research about oppenheimer and the work he done so dont fucking tell me that i wrong when you said that america "killed millions of there people"

  • @juhstchill420 SDMFbroly is right. Millions did not die from the atomic bombs. Tens of thousands did. This isn't a great source but a quick look even shows wikipedia says so. I have also done plenty of research and read multiple non-fiction books of the story behind the bombs, development, usage, and aftermath.

  • @07734people I AGREE WITH YOU 100000000%

  • @07734people I completely agree, it is terrible that people say that... but one thing throws me off. Everyone says "what we did to them was far worse" and completely sure that this statement is fact, when in truth it is not. Not only did they start the conflict, therefor the end is their own doing, but also people neglect to realize that many more most likely would have died if the US had to invade the mainland, not to mention if the US couldn't stop then that way and the Russians got involved.

  • @07734people If the US didn't force the Japanese to surrender as soon as they did, then according to most military strategists the Russians would have invaded from the west, and the end result could have been Berlin all over again. Not to mention Stalin was ruthless and would have slaughtered many Japanese civilians even if they surrendered. Of course this is all only a possibility, but the fact that we will never know means that people shouldn't state that the atom bomb was the worst solution.

  • @07734people It is easy to say "we shouldn't have done it" but until you were there, until you watched your own men die, until you watched your own men slaughter others, and until you have your hand over the button that offers an end.... don't act like you know the best solution.

  • @07734people The Japanese has also killed equal, if not more amount of civilians in China using bacteriological warfare. Every Country has it's bad past. Japan has it. China has it. U.S has it. Which country does not? Those people saying "it's justice for Pearl Harbor" are just ignorant 12 year old kids with a computer. Don't take them seriously.

  • oh noes, not the good wine!...

  • UM WTF IS THAT AT 1:12

  • @bananacockroach no its not blood, its clearly wine spilled on the floor from the broken bottles!

  • @tumidekona

oh i thought somebody died there or something

  • dude @ :44 is like "damn now where is the milk"

  • @nzoomed Not everyone is wearing a mask. It is very common in Asia for people to wear masks when they have a cold to prevent spreading their disease to other people, especially if they work in the food industry. It seems obvious that the women in the aprons do work with food in the supermarket.

  • @alienguppy Tremors are very common in Japan and everyone is trained for what to do when one occurs. They're just doing standard protocol to save the stock (particularly the glass in the alcohol section to prevent from smashing) and prevent the shelves from wobbling too much to cause even more damage.

  • @bonbononie this was a little more than a tremor mate, the earth changed position. it was the mother of all earthquakes. Earth is shape-shifting. Everybody just keeps watching their soaps and whatevers like nothing's goin on! screw that i'm off.

  • @seaofbeer13 That's really true. I was merely trying to explain that maybe that's why the workers were very organized in saving stock and holding up shelves because most/all workplaces in Japan would have standard earthquake protocol for workers since smaller tremors are so common. But yes, this one was significantly more devastating.... prayers for tsunami victims...

  • Scary as hell but luckily Japan is designed to be prepared for large earthquakes.

  • SAVE THE LIQUOR!!

  • @NyYankeesRthaBesT You are an idiot and an embarrassment to Americans.

  • @NyYankeesRthaBesT lol ur an idiot

  • @NyYankeesRthaBesT Its 100% total bullshit what you are saying now, you think those citizens wanna kill americans? that was fucking world war 2, that bullshit is over now, they everybody that lives there did nothing wrong so shutup

  • They are wearing facemasks.. SO WHAT IS FUCKING BIG DEAL HERE?????

  • Alot of insensitive people on this thread... This was a disaster and your all cracking jokes about soy sauce? Or how the Japanese are fucked up anyways? NO the only oens fucked up are the ignorant, pitiful, disgusting waste of human flesh like yourselves. You should be ASHAMED. This is NOT something funny, this is real, and serious... Alot of people died...babies, children, parents, aunts, uncles... alot of animals too.. have a soul.... You sick people are whats wrong with the world..

  • @Jessizh You will always find that YouTube brings out the wackohs ... (the ones that laugh at disaster, or make snide comments etc.) Many of those people are possibly patients at a mental institution that was left unchecked by the night nurses, so they got into the computer room ...

  • lol there funny

  • thats alot of soy sauce on the ground

  • what's with the masks? Seriously?

You could almost be taken as a criminal if you walked into a shop wearing one on alot of other countries. lol

  • @nzoomed in japan, you could be taken as a criminal if you walked into a shop wearing one , sunglasses and a hat on.lol

actually its common thing in japan

  • lol@ the beepping of someone scanning groceries at the end
