Iraq has a government. Further, the majority of Iraq is stable. The insurgency is confined to a few small areas in Iraq. The Iraqi government would get itself fully in gear if they were to get off the American dole.

Is it not reasonable to imagine that a person who truly wanted to make a difference in a given region would have to play to the masses to a certain extent? If the Iranian president is truly good intentioned, then wouldn't he have to play a more exteme stage role as "head of state" to maintain general support from his people? I definitely can understand the necessity for skepticism, but I think the situation with Iran is at the very least grossly oversimplified.

First:From what assumption you reach the result that even if US doesn't go to war with Iran, then Iran will do so?

Second:Even nuclear Iran doesn't mean the use of nuke! Knowing that many countries have nukes, except for US who has used the nukes?

I see more Iran as a threat than Israel. Israel is a well developed country, many of the things you use were developed (or made) there.

that's a weak argument. there's no point of comparison between Germany in the 1930's and Iran now. Germany was a racist state that was one of the most powerful nations in the world while Iran hosts 23 synogogues in Tehran alone and isn't even 1/100th as powerful as the US.
