Ok, I grew up with Doc, and even though I'm Agnostic, I still love this song. It's just got such an amazing feel to it...I heard the instrumental version today in True Grit, and I felt all nostalgic and had to look this up. Thanks for uploading it. :]
@Teadum You know, I heard this in True Grit too. It's an amazing song. Doc was amazing too. I love his work with Merle. You are welcome for the upload, but when I first heard it, I had, HAD to upload it for friends and family.
Did you actually grow up with the man or did you grow up with his music? Either way, it's too cool brother. I onjly discovered him in 2011.
@hyperdiabolical Just his music; my family plays bluegrass and stuff, so I heard a lot of music like this...plus Doc is one of my dad's favorites. :] I've heard his music all my life, and it never really gets old. And by the way, I'm a girl. xD
@HeadfulOfHollow Thanks for that....after all this talk about church and state between us bro. You are no atheist my friend. We can't help it man. Frikkin religious parents! hahahaha
Good one..I like..West virgina style hillbilly gospel fer sure..He sounds like the guy singing at the klan meeting in the movie "Brother where art thou"..Haunting sound..
