I loved this car since i first saw it on a picture postcard in the mid 80s. I collected every bit of information i could get (which was sparse without the internet)

My passion decreased, when i first saw the interior of this car, which is quite not as impressive as its body.

To be honest, now that i've heard the engine sound i'm completly disapointed. It sounds like a tractor...

As a kid, I followed the stories of Gerald Weigert and his Vector Aeromotive in the car magazines and absolutely fell in love with the W8. Maybe I just miss the dreams of my adolescence, but I still think this car is just amazingly cool. As I understand it, this yellow car was originally owned by a Texas oil man. Back in 1993, I saw this car driving down Cooper St. in Arlington, TX. I about crapped my pants when I saw it. If I ever came into some money, I would LOVE to get my hands on a W8...

Design: The W8 has one of the best-looking side profiles of all time. The top view is great although not many get to see it. The later models such as the M12 with the softer edges don't have the same appeal as this sharply-creased design. Love the windshield. BUT the rear and interior... ugh.

Performance: So much promise... such a disappointment.
